AT THE NEXT MORNING
ZAVIER
Morning did not respect that peace. It never did.
"HE MARKED YOU?!" Riko's voice exploded somewhere outside the door.
"Lower your voice." Ben snapped.
"I WILL NOT LOWER. THIS IS HISTORY!"Riko screamed.
"That is a hallway,. Leo added.
"I SUPPORT HALLWAY HISTORY."Riko screamed again.
"No."I groaned into the pillow.
Adam didn't move immediately, one arm still around me, steady and warm like he had been all night, and when I shifted slightly, he only pulled me closer without thinking.
"You are not getting up yet." He said.
"I am being socially attacked." I muttered.
"You are recovering."Adam said.
"I reject recovery."I sighed.
"You don't get to."Adam added.
"I hate that."I frowned.
Outside I heard even more voices.
"Should we knock?" Someone whispered.
"No." Ben said immediately.
"YES." Riko argued.
"Absolutely not."Ben said.
"I AM CURIOUS."Riko exclaimed.
"You are intrusive."Ben said.
"I ACCEPT."Riko said.
