Loreen caught his arm. "No," he said. "I have seen him like this. He does not know what he is doing when he gets to this point. You are not going near him."
"I just want to speak to him," Sairis replied.
"He threw a vase at a wall thirty seconds ago," Loreen retorted, shaking his head.
Sairis sighed. "He would not hurt me," he said. For some reason, he strongly believed that the king would rather fall out the window, than hurt him.
Loreen looked at him. "You do not know that."
"I do," Sairis replied. He held Loreen's gaze steadily. "Let me go."
