Carter found himself back to on the luxurious interdimensional train. The train was as empty as usual and the bar didn't have even one silhouette inside it.
"Welcome back, sir. How was your trip?" The projection from before greeted Carter.
"It was very fruitful." Carter nodded. "Prepare the usual room for me."
"Of course, Paradox." The projection left.
'Hmm.' Carter watched as the projection left. 'Why does they keep referring to me as Paradox? Is it because of the Skin System?.'
The Paradoxes. The seventh pillar of Prime World. Each Paradox had the power to defeat an entire army of the highest power in Prime World.
Carter was obviously not a Paradox. But the projection might mistake him because of the effect of the Skin System.
'It isn't a bad thing to be honest. I can use this as a negotiation card later if I want to.'
