"The doctor said I would need attention from everyone that counts." Neo spoke cautiously. "What about him?"
Neo didn't mention his name. He didn't need to. Everyone knew it.
"What about him?" Armin repeated Neo's question with a pointed tone as he walked back into the room.
Neo looked at Armin and slowly said, "Isn't he a member of the sync bond group…?"
"So what?" Armin's eyes narrowed sharply. "Why should it matter if he's a member?"
Neo paused before answering the question. "The doctor thinks I have just three sync partners. Since he exists, shouldn't that change or stand for something?"
"No." Armin snapped. "I've told you, do not take The Phantom as someone that should even exist. He's nothing to you. Stop worrying yourself about that end."
Neo wanted to argue. How could he not worry when the adverse effects would only dawn on himself if he didn't get as much help as possible??
