The Birth of the Spawn of Chaos

In the beginning, the world belonged to the gods.

Seventy-five divine beings ruled the heavens.

Each god possessed authority over a domain—war, storms, knowledge, death, fire, steel, and countless others.

They shaped the world below like pieces on a game board.

But the gods were divided into three factions.

Order. Balance. Chaos.

For thousands of years the world had suffered because of their rivalry.

Kingdoms rose.

Kingdoms fell.

And the greatest victims of this endless conflict were two races:

Humans and monsters.

Humans believed monsters were abominations created by the Chaos gods.

Monsters believed humans were invaders blessed by the Order gods.

Neither side wanted peace.

They wanted extermination.

Entire human kingdoms had been wiped from the map by monsters.

And in revenge, humans launched massive wars that erased whole regions of Chaos creatures from existence.

Cities burned.

Mountains shattered.

Seas turned red.

War had become the natural state of the world.

And the gods watched.

Many of the gods enjoyed the chaos of battle.

To make the war more interesting, they began bringing humans from another world.

A distant world called Earth.

These people were granted divine abilities and sent into the world as warriors.

They became known as:

The God-Chosen.

Some fought alone.

Some formed parties of five.

Others created elite squads of ten.

The strongest of them all was a legendary group known as The Heavenly Vanguard.

A ten-member party said to have defeated monsters capable of destroying nations.

The God-Chosen knew something important.

They were not the only ones summoned.

Many others from Earth existed across the world.

But there was one rumor that frightened them all.

A prophecy whispered among the gods.

"One day, a being of Chaos will be born."

High above the world, in the endless heavens, the gods gathered.

Many laughed.

Many mocked.

And the one they mocked the most sat alone on a throne of black mist.

The God of Chaos.

"You are pathetic," one god said.

"Your monsters are weak," another added.

"Your followers are dead."

Laughter echoed through the divine halls.

The Chaos god remained silent.

For centuries his creations had been slaughtered.

His monsters hunted.

His followers destroyed.

The Order gods ruled most of the world now.

But today…

That would change.

The Chaos god slowly raised his hand.

"I will create something greater than monsters."

His power stretched across dimensions.

Across stars.

Across reality itself.

Until it reached a small blue world.

Earth.

Among billions of humans, he searched for the perfect soul.

Not a hero.

Not a noble warrior.

Not someone pure.

He wanted someone who understood chaos.

Someone who loved destruction.

Someone who thrived in fear and violence.

Then he found him.

A man feared across the world.

A strategist of terror.

A fighter who enjoyed combat with his bare hands.

A man named Jay.

The Chaos god smiled.

"Perfect."

Jay died.

His soul was swallowed by darkness.

Moments later…

A baby's cry echoed inside a large wooden mansion.

It was the headquarters of one of the strongest samurai clans in the eastern lands.

The Kurayami Clan.

An Edo-era warrior family famous for hunting monsters.

Outside the mansion walls, steam engines hissed and mechanical defenses guarded the city.

This world was not just medieval.

It had steam-powered technology created to fight monsters.

Steam cannons.

Gear-powered swords.

Heavy mechanical armor.

Humanity had evolved to survive.

But monsters were still stronger.

Inside the room, a newborn baby cried loudly.

A tall samurai stood beside the bed.

His armor rested against the wall.

His presence alone filled the room with authority.

This man was Kurayami Daigo.

An A-Rank warrior.

A legendary monster slayer.

The child's mother smiled weakly.

"He's strong…"

Daigo gently lifted the baby.

The boy stared at him with strangely calm eyes.

Daigo laughed proudly.

"My son will be a warrior."

He looked at the child and spoke his name.

"Kurayami Ren."

At that exact moment…

Something strange happened across the world.

Deep within ancient forests…

Monsters froze.

In underground caverns…

Ancient beasts opened their eyes.

In the darkest oceans…

Gigantic creatures stirred in the depths.

They all felt it.

A presence older than kingdoms.

Older than empires.

Older than war itself.

Chaos.

Some monsters ran in fear.

Others roared in excitement.

The strongest monsters felt something else.

Recognition.

One ancient creature whispered into the darkness.

"The Spawn of Chaos… has been born."

High in the heavens, the gods also felt it.

The Order gods frowned.

The Balance gods remained silent.

And scattered across the world, the 25 Chaos gods smiled.

One of them laughed loudly.

The God of Madness.

"Interesting…"

He leaned forward eagerly.

"I can't wait to meet that child."

Back in the Kurayami clan mansion…

The baby slowly stopped crying.

Inside his small body lived the soul of a man who once caused terror on another world.

Jay's memories flickered faintly.

But they were distant now.

A new life had begun.

A new name.

A new world.

And a destiny that would shake gods, monsters, and kingdoms alike.

The child closed his eyes peacefully.

Unaware that one day…

Ancient monsters would bow before him.

God-Chosen heroes would hunt him.

And the world would learn to fear the name:

Kurayami Ren.

The Spawn of Chaos.
