Chapter 436: Dining with Young Sakura, a Chance Encounter with the King of Knights and Iri?
....
Seito and Nyaruko took young Sakura shopping at the mall.
Now that Sakura had completely cut ties with the Matou family, she deserved a brand-new start. Seito's sole goal today was buying a whole new wardrobe for her.
As for money?
What a joke—as an almighty Main God, acquiring local currency was trivially easy. With a flick of his divine energy, he had created a bank card loaded with a cool hundred million Japanese yen. He was far from short on cash!
Stepping out of a high-end boutique, Seito held young Sakura—now dressed in a cute white sundress—in his arms with a warm smile.
"Hehe~" Sakura offered a sweet, innocent giggle.
Today was easily the happiest day of her entire life. Recalling her past nightmares, the difference between then and now felt like night and day.
"Sakura, what do you feel like eating?"
It was almost noon, so Seito decided to treat her to a feast.
"Anything big brother likes~" Sakura answered obediently.
She wasn't a picky eater at all; just being able to live alongside Seito made her feel completely content.
"What a good girl~" Nyaruko leaned over with a cheerful grin.
She had seen plenty of mortal children across space, but most of them were absolute little troublemakers! By comparison, Sakura was remarkably well-behaved and sweet.
"Alright then." Seito gently patted Sakura's head.
Looking around the busy street, he spotted a cozy Western-style restaurant nearby and led Nyaruko and Sakura straight inside.
Chime~
The small bell above the door rang softly as they entered.
"Welcome! Party of three?" A waitress in a sleek uniform greeted them with a polite bow.
Seito nodded in acknowledgment, sweeping his eyes across the dining area. The restaurant was quite popular, but there happened to be one empty table left in the corner. Leading Nyaruko and Sakura over, they settled into their seats.
The waitress followed them with a menu.
"We'll take one of everything on the menu, please," Seito said, handing the menu straight back to her.
He didn't bother browsing—as divine beings, they certainly didn't need to worry about leaving leftovers.
"Understood, sir!" The waitress was momentarily taken aback, but quickly accepted the order and headed back to the kitchen.
Seito adjusted Sakura comfortably on his lap.
"Planet Type-Moon feels a little too mundane during the day, doesn't it?" Nyaruko rested her chin on her pale hands, letting out a slight sigh.
Nighttime on Type-Moon might feature secret magus battles, but daytime was genuinely boring. She had visited plenty of slice-of-life, non-supernatural worlds before. While slice-of-life had its own charm, the omniverse was fundamentally built on power! Without strength, being weak in this cosmos was the ultimate vulnerability.
By comparison, Earth—with its blend of modern daily life and rising supernatural elements—was much more to Nyaruko's liking.
"It's fine," Seito smiled casually. Every planet developed at its own pace, so he had no reason to complain.
Sakura sat quietly in Seito's arms, waiting for the food to arrive.
Chime~
The restaurant entrance opened once more. A blonde girl with a prominent ahoge and a elegant, white-haired lady stepped inside.
"Iri, there are no open tables left," Artoria noted, sweeping her green eyes across the room before turning to Irisviel.
"Ah, what a shame," Irisviel sighed softly.
Seeing the two walk in, Seito and Nyaruko exchanged a quick glance.
Talk about a coincidence! They hadn't expected to bump into these two again so soon.
"Why don't you join us?" Without hesitation, Seito called out, offering a friendly invitation.
"???"
Artoria and Irisviel froze, turning their heads toward the source of the voice. Recognizing Seito and Nyaruko, both women showed clear surprise.
"Very well." After a moment's consideration, Artoria accepted.
Irisviel nodded in agreement, silently approving Artoria's decision.
The main reason they agreed so readily was simple: Seito and Nyaruko weren't hostile Servants, but actual Gods! Unlike the cold, arrogant deities of the Age of Gods, these two appeared remarkably approachable and grounded. Facing an invitation from such easygoing deities, they had no real reason to decline.
Watching the two stunning beauties walk over to join Seito's table, several male diners nearby felt a surge of jealousy. They hadn't expected those two gorgeous women to accept an invitation from a stranger so easily.
Even more surprising was Nyaruko's complete lack of jealousy! To the surrounding onlookers, Seito, Nyaruko, and young Sakura looked just like a young family of three. Yet Nyaruko didn't react at all when her "husband" invited two beautiful women to sit with them!
The only thing that confused the patrons was Sakura's appearance—her silky black hair shared zero resemblance to Seito's snowy white hair or Nyaruko's silver locks.
Still, the diners quickly looked away, knowing it was none of their business.
"Hello everyone," Irisviel greeted softly as she sat down beside Artoria. She appeared slightly reserved—after all, she was sitting across from two literal Gods!
"Hello, Irisviel," Seito offered a gentle smile.
Seeing his relaxed demeanor, Irisviel let out a quiet sigh of relief; at least for now, this God seemed very easy to get along with.
"Hey, hey~!" Nyaruko suddenly chimed in, leaning forward with sparkling eyes: "Was my entry yesterday cool or what?!"
"Er..." Irisviel's lips twitched slightly.
Artoria's brow twitched as well.
Cool? It was definitely flashy, but what was up with all those absurd special effects during your transformation sequence?!
The two women complained internally, but to avoid offending a deity, Irisviel offered a polite smile: "It was... very impressive."
Hearing that, Nyaruko's green eyes sparkled brightly. "Right?! I told him it was super cool!!"
Seito shook his head helplessly at her enthusiasm. Still, considering her chaotic personality, he found it rather entertaining—at the very least, Nyaruko was far smarter than a certain Goddess of Wisdom he knew!
Artoria turned her gaze toward Seito, asking curously, "My lords, where did the two of you come from?"
