📖 Novel: Not Get Love (Unfinished Love)

Chapter 1: A Strange Beginning

It was a quiet winter morning.

A girl named Susmita was walking slowly along the village road. The cold wind touched her face, and the sky looked pale and calm.

Susmita had many dreams in her heart. She believed that one day her life would become beautiful. But life does not always follow our dreams.

Near the school gate, a boy was standing there. His name was Rahul. His eyes looked calm and kind.

Rahul looked at Susmita and asked with a gentle smile,

"Are you new here?"

Susmita felt a little shy and replied softly,

"Yes… today is my first day."

That small conversation became the beginning of something special.

Day by day, their friendship started to grow.

But Susmita did not know that not every story ends with love.

Chapter 2: An Unknown Feeling

Days passed quickly.

Susmita and Rahul often talked in the school field, in the library, or under an old banyan tree near the road.

Their conversations were simple, but they were full of laughter.

One day Rahul suddenly said,

"When you are around, my day feels better."

Susmita's heart started beating faster.

She realized that their friendship was slowly turning into something deeper.

Maybe it was love.

But she was also afraid…

What if this feeling disappeared one day?

Chapter 3: Unspoken Love

One evening, soft rain was falling.

Susmita and Rahul were standing at the bus stop.

Rahul looked at the road and said quietly,

"I might leave this town soon for my studies."

Susmita felt a sudden emptiness in her heart.

She wanted to say something…

She wanted to tell him how she felt.

But the words never came out.

Her love stayed hidden inside her heart.

Chapter 4: The Last Day

The next few days felt strange for Susmita.

Every moment with Rahul started to feel more special, because she knew he would leave soon.

In school, Rahul was laughing and talking as usual. But Susmita could feel something different in the air. Time was moving too fast.

One afternoon Rahul said,

"Tomorrow is my last day here."

Susmita's heart became heavy. She smiled a little and said,

"I hope you will not forget this place."

Rahul looked at her and replied softly,

"How can I forget… when my best memories are here?"

Susmita wanted to say, "And I am one of those memories."

But once again, she stayed silent.

Chapter 5: Goodbye Without Love

The final day arrived.

The sky was cloudy, and the wind was quiet. Susmita stood near the school gate waiting for Rahul.

Rahul came with a small bag and a gentle smile.

"I have to go now," he said.

For a moment, everything felt still. Susmita looked at him, trying to keep her tears inside.

Rahul said,

"Take care of yourself."

Susmita nodded slowly.

Rahul walked away down the road.

Step by step, he became smaller in the distance until he disappeared completely.

That day Susmita realized something painful.

Sometimes love exists…

but it never gets a chance to be spoken.

And some love stories end before they even begin.

Chapter 6: Empty Days

After Rahul left, Susmita's days felt quiet and empty.

The school looked the same, the road was the same, and the old banyan tree was still there. But something was missing.

Sometimes she stood near the bus stop, remembering the day Rahul said goodbye.

Her friends asked,

"Why are you so silent these days?"

Susmita only smiled and said,

"Nothing… I'm fine."

But inside her heart, she knew something had changed forever.

Chapter 7: Memories

Months passed.

One day while cleaning her books, Susmita found a small piece of paper inside one of them.

It was a note from Rahul.

It said:

"Never stop smiling. Your smile makes the world brighter."

Susmita looked at the paper for a long time.

A small tear rolled down her cheek.

She whispered softly,

"I wish you knew how much you meant to me."

Chapter 8: A New Beginning?

Years slowly passed.

Susmita finished her studies and started working in the town. Life moved forward, but Rahul's memory stayed somewhere deep in her heart.

One evening she was walking through the market when she suddenly heard a familiar voice behind her.

"Susmita… is that you?"

Her heart stopped for a moment.

She slowly turned around.

Standing there… was Rahul.

Older, but with the same gentle smile.

And in that moment, Susmita realized that some feelings never disappear.

Chapter 9: A Sudden Meeting

Susmita looked at Rahul with surprise.

For a moment, she could not believe her eyes.

"Rahul… you?" she said softly.

Rahul smiled and nodded.

"Yes… it's me. I came back to visit my family."

For a few seconds, both of them stood there silently. Years had passed, but the feeling in Susmita's heart suddenly returned.

Rahul asked,

"How have you been all these years?"

Susmita replied with a small smile,

"I'm doing well… life just keeps moving."

But inside, her heart was full of old memories.

Chapter 10: Old Feelings

They sat together in a small tea shop near the road.

They talked about school days, old friends, and their memories under the banyan tree.

Rahul said,

"Those were the best days of my life."

Susmita looked at him quietly.

She wanted to tell him everything she had hidden in her heart for so many years.

Finally, she asked,

"Rahul… did you ever miss this place?"

Rahul looked outside for a moment and said softly,

"Yes… especially the people who made it special."

Susmita's heart started beating faster.

Was he talking about her?

Chapter 11: The Truth

The evening sky slowly turned orange.

Rahul suddenly said something that surprised Susmita.

"I wanted to tell you something before I left years ago… but I never got the chance."

Susmita looked at him nervously.

Rahul continued,

"I liked you… more than just a friend."

For a moment, Susmita felt both happiness and sadness at the same time.

She smiled gently and said,

"I felt the same… but I was too afraid to say it."

Both of them looked at each other quietly.

Sometimes love comes late…

and sometimes life changes before love can begin.

Chapter 12: A Difficult Truth

After a moment of silence, Rahul took a deep breath.

"There is something else you should know," he said quietly.

Susmita looked at him, her heart beating fast.

Rahul continued slowly,

"My life has changed a lot in these years. My family arranged my marriage… and now I am engaged."

For a moment, Susmita felt the world around her become very quiet.

She forced a small smile and said,

"I'm happy for you."

But inside her heart, she felt a deep pain she could not explain.

Chapter 13: The Last Walk

That evening, they decided to walk one last time near the old banyan tree where they used to sit during school days.

The wind was gentle, and the sky was full of fading sunlight.

Rahul said softly,

"I always wondered what would have happened if we had told each other our feelings earlier."

Susmita looked at the road ahead and replied,

"Maybe our story would have been different."

They both smiled sadly, knowing that some questions will never have answers.

Chapter 14: Goodbye Again

The next morning Rahul had to leave the town again.

This time, Susmita stood at the bus stop just like years ago.

Rahul said,

"You were always a very special person in my life."

Susmita nodded and said quietly,

"And you were my first love."

Rahul looked surprised for a moment, but then he smiled gently.

The bus arrived, and Rahul stepped inside.

As the bus slowly moved away, Susmita watched until it disappeared from sight.

Chapter 15: Love That Stayed

Days passed again.

Life continued, just like before.

But this time, Susmita felt a strange peace in her heart. She had finally spoken the truth she kept hidden for so long.

Some love stories are not meant to last forever.

Some love stories are meant to teach us something.

And even though Susmita never truly "got" that love…

the memory of it stayed in her heart forever.
