In the spaceship, things were getting out of hand. Maru situation was worsening. He would have repetitive shocks followed by intense fever. Gangrene was taking over the injured spot. His curse energy was plumetting down the hill. And the most frightening thing was that he had not even opened his eyes for three days.
"I can only do this much" Dabura said withdrawing his hand from the gangrene site "I still don't understand this healing sorcery, I can only keep the gangrene in check. But looking at him, I guess he needs more intensive care"
"Are you suggesting that we should take Maru to those humans who have been the very cause of his misery? I forbid! I won't allow it. I will find some way, I will at once go to Earth and get some information on this healing" Cross protested.
"Wait! Don't do anything in haste. We have already lost one soldier. We can't afford to lose anymore. A war between the Simurian and humans can begin at any moment. We must be prepared both physically and mentally." Jabaloma said to Cross.
Dabura was pondering deeply about something and Cross noticed it. Dabura then spoke what was on his mind
"I'm going to accept that offer." He said solemnly "I know you all may be against it, but that sorcerer is working against the Japanese government. Not to mention he is a strong sorcerer. If I could bring him to our side, the chances of understanding Earth advanced jujutsu greatly increases. And more than that he might know a way to save Maru" Dabura said.
Cross was against this idea of human interference. But Maru's life was hanging by a thin thread. Betting on the sorcerer would be the right choice. So he held his lips together.
Since no one spoke anything, Dabura took it for a yes. And went out of the room in search of the sorcerer
