Chapter 2 - Chapter 2:The First Trial

Rihan blinked, adjusting to the dazzling light. The world beyond the door was unlike anything he had ever seen. Towering trees with silver leaves swayed gently in a breeze that smelled like honey and rain. The sky shifted between shades of violet and amber, dotted with floating islands that hovered impossibly in the distance.

Lumira walked ahead of him, her movements effortless, like she was part of this strange realm. "Welcome to Aeloria," she said, her voice echoing softly, as if carried by the wind itself. "Here, reality bends to the heart's truth. You will learn, but you will also face… challenges. The first awaits you soon."

Then, instinctively, Rihan raised his hands—and a faint glow shimmered around his palms. He felt warmth, pulsing from deep within him, as if his heartbeat itself had become a light.

The serpent recoiled slightly, its form rippling with the force of Rihan's unspoken courage. Slowly, he realized—this power had been inside him all along. It had simply been waiting to awaken.

"Good," Lumira's voice came from the shore. "Now, face it fully. Do not run from what you are. Only by embracing your own strength will the path forward open."

Rihan steadied himself. The river surged. Seraphel hissed louder, circling him. But instead of fear, a new feeling bloomed—determination. The first trial had begun, and Rihan was ready to see what he was truly capable of..
