A volley of yellow lasers rain down on the ship, but all of them were somehow negated by an invisible force field.
" Heh, our defense is a whole lot tougher than that!" Jett joyfully shouts.
" Oh, crap! It's the Clipans Defense Force!" Pecho shouts.
" Shit, it's these guys again. They don't play around, but lucky for me, we got something out of this place," Bane says as he grabs the chest. He looks at Jett and orders him
" Tell Big V to step on it!"
" Aye, Aye, Captain!" Jett replies. He extends his arm and shoots a strange, sticky yellow slime at the interior of the ship and pulls himself inside. Bane closely follows, but before he could step in, he hears a cry behind him.
" w-wa-wait!"
Bane turns around to a startled Pecho.
" Wait, I don't…have anywhere else to go!!" Pecho screeches.
Puzzled, Bane simply responds
" Not my problem,"
" Please…le-let me join you!!" he pleads, but Bane promptly turns him down again.
" No, go back to the hole you came from. I don't need more scrubs like you."
"Bu-but I'm not a scrub. I can do loads of things!"
" Such as?"
" Spying, navigating, and dr—"
" Wait, you're a navigator?"
Pecho's eyes lit up with hope
" Yeah, I've been to loads of places!! You need a navigator?" Pecho asks.
Bane thinks about it for a moment.
" Hmm… I don't know—"
" I ca-can also cook and clean. I-I'll do anything you want me to do!!" Pecho stammers, but Bane just stood there
" Just don't let me die here, err, Gold Chase!!"
An uncomfortable silence follows between them as Bane stares intensely at Pecho for what felt like an eternity.
" Captain," Bane says
" Huh?"
" Call me Captain. Get on," Bane beckons him to come inside.
Pecho couldn't believe it, but his eyes lit up in joy and he quickly follows Bane aside, but as he enters through the door, he catches a glimpse of words embroiled on the golden spaceship.
The Fancy Anne, huh?
The engine for the ship throttles up and it quickly blasts into sky as the lasers furiously pursues it, but before long, the ship ascends to the depths of outer space and out of reach of its enemy.
