The woman stared at her, a struggle of pain flashing through her eyes. Finally, she slowly stepped aside to let her in.
"Come in."
The apartment was quite cramped. There was no sofa in the living room; instead, a bed had been placed there.
The middle-aged woman didn't invite her to sit. She led her straight to the only bedroom in the house.
She knocked on the door first, then, without waiting for a response, pushed it open.
Following the opening door, Jiang Xuxu finally saw the scene inside.
