Sami stood still after stepping into the strange world. The air felt heavier, and the ground beneath his feet was cold and rough.
He slowly turned around.
Behind him, the mysterious door was still there, floating quietly in the empty space between two dark rocks.
For a moment, Sami felt relieved. The door was still open. If something went wrong, he could run back to his world.
But the strange land around him was terrifying.
The sky was dark red, covered with slow-moving clouds. The mountains looked sharp and endless, and the wind carried strange echoes across the empty land.
Then Sami heard something.
A sound.
Very faint at first.
Like footsteps.
He quickly looked around, trying to see where the sound was coming from.
Nothing.
Just silence.
But then the sound came again.
Closer.
Step...
Step...
Step...
Sami's heart started beating faster. He felt that something was watching him from the shadows.
"Hello?" he called out nervously.
His voice echoed across the empty land, but no one answered.
Suddenly, something moved behind a large black rock.
Sami froze.
A tall shadow slowly appeared.
It was not human.
Its body was thin and long, and its eyes were glowing with a faint blue light.
The creature tilted its head as it looked at Sami.
For a few seconds, neither of them moved.
Then the creature took one slow step forward.
Sami felt fear rush through his body.
Whatever this thing was...
It had found him.
