i was exhausted so i lay on my bed in i thought why no one cared about my opinion on the marriage it was my life and if i get married to Rahan it would be do or die i wont be able to leave the marriage but Rahan can have has many mistress he want.
Today just got started and i already have a headache. Their was a knock on my door it was my kid sister Zara she was wearing a blue silk ball dress and came in alone
'' are you okay '' she asked
''am fine what about you''
'' do you know what i and Albert saw ''
'' Albert your parrot ''
Zara nod her head
'' so what do you want to tell me "

'' i and Albert went to the dungeon ''
'' how did you get their dad said we shouldn't go there ''
'' i know the thing is a theft is about to happen''
''what theft'
' ''a gold theft someone is about to steal gold from the palace''
'' how do you know i heard it from two men down their''
'' you might have heard wrong can you recognize them ''
i hold Zara hand she looked sad that i wasn't believing but the issue is that if she can't identify the culprit raising a false alarm would be detrimental. i know dad is bringing a lot of gold so Zara story might be true
. '' what about you tell mom what you saw '' i decided that i would follow her to tell mom. We went to mom's chamber it was the simplest chamber in the castle free of extravagant funitures but it was beautiful rare antique mom was seated by her bed she was with some jewelries sometimes i feel like i should doubt my mom's age with all the antique like jewelries she had she had a weird hobby keeping them and protected them a lot.
i approached her and told zara to tell her about what she heard my eyes were fixated on the three antique necklaces she was holding she always had one on her neck and always called it her key home and two in a safe but the week Zara was born i noticed she had another one sometimes she called the necklaces our protector. mom told Zara the same thing i told her if their was no evidence we shouldn't create a false alarm.
i used to go to the kitchen when i was bored or wanted to talk to Laura but she was busy so i was watching them from my peephole i wasn't allowed to enter the kitchen and dad would kill whoever allowed me in the kitchen a guard came in and told them to leave the kitchen maybe it was their break
They left the kitchen unattented to i was going to leave too since Laura was now free but i saw a shady looking man he held a ragged blanket to cover his upper body and face he had entered into the kitchen from the back door i didn't even know that was possible the looked around to make sure no one saw him, the guard wore a helmet am sue he was in cahoots with him they looked like acquitances but what if i was over thinking dad never told me about the affairs of the castle neither did he tell mom what if Zara was right.

Rahan was looking for Catherine he hadnt seen her since she fainted his mother had advised him to talk to her, he knew Catherine was against the wedding and if were up to her would cancel it and tell him to go to hell he just wanted to make sure she was not performing a hiest and them being together would make her father think the marriage would work passing by the corridor was a maid holding a tray she tripped and drenched Rahans cloth with wine meant for the meeting going on he was furious and he hit her. ***************
i left the peep hole i need to tell dad about this i went to his chamber but i was informed he had gone for a meeting women weren't allowed to attend meetings so i had to wait i decided to go to Zara she needed to tell me everything. their i saw Rahan his cloth was ruined and he was yelling at a maid she was just crying.
he used his shoe to kick her it was brutal i went to break them up but Rahan kept pushing me away saying i shouldn't get into it no guard did anything they stood erect watching the drama he rubbed the sole of his shoe on her face and hair he wanted to show she was dirt he kept doing it touching her sensitive part he put his shoe into her cloth and all she could do was sit on the floor crying and pleading she couldn't protest
Rahan finally left the girl go after much pleading that was just curel he rubbed the dirt of his shoe all over. Rahan walked by me and i stopped him stretching my hand blocking his path
'' that was in humane'' he seemed unmoved he wanted to pass but i didn't let him he held my hand and twisted it then he used his body to block the guards from seeing
'' their is a solid line between worthless and priceless'' he let go of my hand and left my hand hurt so bad we weren't even married he already started maltreating me.
The meeting dad was having with the chiefs was about my marriage tomorrow they would announce it to the kingdom about the alliance it was finalised the ball was already out of my court nothing i could do to stop it.
i saw my mom approaching me she seemed happy she placed a hand on my shoulder
''the royal seamstress is here to give you the dress you will wear tonight and she also brought some designs to show you for your wedding dress.''
so fast the wedding was in two week so every thing will be done in a hurry
. '' am so excited you will become a married woman''
every statement mom said gave me chest pain the thought alone heart wrenching. i didn't protest as mom pulled me to her room there i met the seamstress who greeted with a smile she looked happy too.
i was made to wear all the dresses the seamstress brought finally mom decide on a floor length sapphire blue gown with gold embroidery round neckline slight puff at the shoulder with a golden girdle designed with ruby like stones. mom gushed a alot about the dress. she called a maid to call zara to pick a cloth too but i offered to go i was hearing too much post wedding stories.
Zara's room was a mess she had spare parts of machines everywhere live a wood work shop some papers where she drew blueprints for her inventions she was in the washroom i told her to hurry up and waited seating on her bed i saw a book it was a kid fairytale book i opened it, it was stories about mystical creatures with pictures of mermaids and witches the book described them to be evil, i was still reading the book when i realised i wasnt alone in the room.
