Chapter 25 - Himejima Clan 2

"DEVIL, LET MY UNCLE GO!!" Suzaku Himejima shouted from there, but Cassien gave him a side-eye.

The clan members couldn't even look him in the eye out of fear.

Judgeman behind him stood with the scales, showing just how cool a T-pose could be.

He slowly turned his head to Suou Himejima: "Violence is forbidden in this area, so your attacks have no effect. A crime you committed in the past will be judged in this court. You have 3 options. 1- Lie, 2- Object, 3- Accept."

"You will pay for this, devil," said Suou, and his fist stopped right in front of Cassien and was sent back to its place.

Cassien woke up and chose violence.

He didn't even blink, staring into the man's soul like he was looking through it.

Judgeman began to speak: "Suou Himejima is accused of expelling his own sister Ageha Ikuse from the clan."

But Suou stayed silent for a while: "I object. She willingly went against the clan rules because she used Buddhist magic."

"Worshipping a god or divine animal being more important than your own sister, I understand. But you exiled someone from your own blood just because of the type of magic they use. And it's your own sister."

Suou furrowed his brows; this guy was too old for this shit: "Devil, you will pay."

"GUILTY: CONFISCATION!!!"

Suddenly, Suou Himejima felt like all his powers were gone.

Still, Cassien stepped in front of him but looked down at him with contempt: "I want a retrial."

The stands reappeared, and Suou shouted: "WHAT DID YOU DO TO ME!? WHY CAN'T I FEEL MY ENERGY!?"

"UNCLE, PLEASE…." Suzaku Himejima shouted.

But Cassien struck the gavel on the stand three times: "Silent in the court."

Everyone's mouth felt locked.

Cassien just spat on the ground: "Your energy and all your power are now mine. Everything the clan was proud of, everything that made you, you. Now you're just an old man."

"Wha…."

But then Judgeman spoke again: "Suou Himejima is accused of giving the execution order for Akeno Himejima and Shuri Himejima, date XXX."

Suzaku's mouth moved again: "UNCLE, WHAT DID YOU DO!!"

"… I object! It was because she carried that filthy fallen angel blood!! If Shuri had just married someone else instead of that fallen angel Baraqiel, I wouldn't have said anything! I had to do it!"

Suou was desperately trying to justify himself with all his might.

"But in the process, the person named Akeno Himejima suffered psychological damage. I'm not surprised you gave the execution order for your niece and her daughter, geez, you don't even care about your sister. Now, can you understand what she felt?"

Suou shouted again: "I just enforced the clan traditions! Keeping Shuri alive was a huge problem!!! That dirty blood should never have come to our clan."

Suzaku had already given up because she saw her uncle's disgusting side.

She had already become the clan head, but her uncle…

That man was powerful, peak-ultimate level.

low-Satan class in his prime…

Suzaku was mid-ultimate class; she had defeated her uncle using her mind, and the old man was in pain.

Cassien looked at him: "You confessed with your own words."

Judgeman opened his eyes: "GUILTY!! DEATH PENALTY!!"

The stand rose, and Suou Himejima tried to run toward Cassien.

Cassien looked at this old man, and the gavel had turned into an executioner's sword.

He held it right in front of the man's eyes: "A single scratch from this sword can kill you. Even a god would die from it. Suou Himejima, I may be a devil, but I am not a monster like you," Cassien said, and the area lifted.

The gavel in his hand disappeared into the air.

"Everyone bow while looking at me," Cassien said.

Everyone immediately dropped to their knees.

SLASH

In an instant, the entire temple was split in two… the sun appeared above their heads.

Then Cassien opened a portal with Yamato and looked at Suzaku: "Young girl, you are merciful and intelligent. Today I only came to hear a confession, but what I heard were disgusting lies. If you ever become like Suou, I will come for you."

Cassien passed through the portal, and it closed without leaving a trace behind.

At that moment, it was probably something that would never be erased from Suzaku's mind.
