Chapter 73 - Newlyweds Admiring the Full Moon

High above the sky, everything was silent.

Only the gentle night wind drifted across the clouds.

Thick layers of clouds spread like an endless white blanket under the bright moonlight, separating this place from the noise of the world below.

Amid this quiet sea of clouds, Broly and Launch sat close together.

Broly's powerful arm wrapped naturally around Launch's slender waist, letting her rest comfortably in his embrace.

Launch's blue hair fluttered softly in the night breeze.

A few strands brushed against her slightly blushing cheeks.

Her white dress—borrowed earlier as a wedding gown—was slightly messy now. One button near the collar had come loose, and the hem was wrinkled.

But she didn't care.

She simply leaned against Broly's solid shoulder with dreamy eyes and a shy, satisfied smile.

She was completely immersed in the sweet happiness of being newly married.

Broly looked down at his gentle wife and gave a silly grin.

It was very different from the expression he wore during battles.

It was warm and simple—like someone who had gained the entire world.

If one looked closely, it became clear they were not actually sitting directly on the clouds.

Under Broly's feet was a faint green energy platform—almost invisible to the eye.

Like a solid floor made of energy, it supported both of them in the sky.

This thin barrier was what allowed Launch to sit safely among the clouds thousands of meters above the ground.

"Hehe," Broly scratched his head as if recalling something interesting.

"No wonder the old man always secretly looks at those magazines and videos…"

"So this kind of thing… is actually pretty interesting."

Launch's cheeks turned bright red when she heard his blunt words.

"Mm… yes…"

She buried her face deeper into Broly's neck, responding softly.

Her body pressed closer against him.

Broly suddenly frowned slightly, thinking like a student researching a complicated problem.

"But the old man said there were three positions to choose from…"

"I checked carefully earlier…"

"So why did I only find one?"

As he spoke, Broly unconsciously glanced toward Launch's body.

Launch froze.

Her entire neck turned red instantly.

Her voice was barely audible.

"T-there's only one…"

"Maybe… Master Roshi meant… my transformation?"

"I married you," Broly said seriously.

"Not your transformation."

Then he muttered again in confusion.

"Strange… did the old man lie to me?"

"Where are the other two?"

His curious gaze moved again.

Launch felt like she was being examined under a microscope.

"D-don't look…" she whispered desperately.

Her trembling hand gently covered Broly's eyes.

"Alright… if I can't find them, then I can't find them," Broly sighed regretfully.

But he still looked puzzled.

Launch quickly changed the subject.

"By the way, Broly…"

"I didn't know you could fly!"

"You fly so high and so steadily!"

"At first I thought we were going to fall!"

"I've known how for a long time," Broly replied casually.

"I just usually walk."

"Flying feels like too much trouble."

Launch widened her blue eyes in surprise.

"Really?"

"I thought you learned it like Tien and Goku did."

"It's different," Broly said while pointing toward the enormous full moon hanging in the sky.

"I usually sleep early, so I never come out at night."

"But the scenery is pretty nice."

The cold moonlight spread across the endless cloud ocean.

It was a breathtaking sight.

"Yes," Launch said softly.

"The moon tonight is so round and bright."

"It feels like it's witnessing our love."

Broly nodded.

"I've never really looked at it carefully before."

"I didn't know the moon could be this round."

He looked at the full moon again.

The moment his eyes locked onto the moon—

THUMP! THUMP! THUMP!

Broly suddenly felt his heart pounding violently.

A wild surge of power erupted from deep within his body.

It spread through every muscle and bone.

Launch watched in terror as Broly froze.

His eyes became blank.

His body stiffened.

A faint cracking sound echoed inside him.

His already muscular body suddenly expanded slightly.

His clothes tightened.

His muscles bulged.

A violent aura stirred around him.

Even the energy platform beneath them trembled.

"Broly! Broly!" Launch cried in panic.

"Are you okay?!"

She quickly sat up and patted his chest with trembling hands.

"Wake up! Don't scare me!"

Suddenly—

Broly blinked.

The wild energy receded like a tide.

"I think… I'm fine now," he said with a gentle smile.

His body quickly returned to normal.

Launch grabbed his arm tightly.

"What just happened?!"

"Your eyes looked terrifying!"

"And your body suddenly got bigger!"

"You scared me!"

"If something happened to you… I wouldn't even be able to get down from here!"

"It's nothing serious," Broly said calmly.

"When I looked at the full moon, my power suddenly started increasing."

"It felt like it was boiling."

"Then stop looking at it!" Launch cried.

She quickly covered his eyes again.

"I remember now!"

"When Goku sees the full moon, he turns into a giant ape!"

"It's terrifying!"

"You also have a tail… what if you transform too?!"

"I didn't transform, did I?" Broly said while stretching his arms.

"I'm completely fine."

"But if you did transform…" Launch shivered.

"You might accidentally crush me…"

"I don't want to die like that!"

After carefully observing him, she finally relaxed slightly.

"It seems you're different from Goku."

"Yeah," Broly nodded.

Launch sighed with relief and leaned back into his arms.

They avoided looking at the moon.

Instead, they quietly admired the starry sky together.

Peaceful silence surrounded them.

After a while, Broly whispered again.

"How about we try again?"

"We still haven't figured it out yet."

Launch blushed deeply.

"…Okay."

Half an hour later—

"ACHOO!!"

Launch suddenly sneezed loudly.

In an instant—

Her blue hair turned golden.

Her gentle expression disappeared.

The fierce blonde Launch had appeared.

Broly: "..."

His expression froze.

"BROLY!!"

"What are you doing to me?!" blonde Launch shouted furiously.

She looked down—

Her face instantly turned red with rage.

"You bastard!!"

"Not you!" Broly reacted instantly.

Without hesitation, he pulled out his bottle of sneezing powder.

"ACHOO!!"

Another sneeze.

The golden hair instantly turned blue again.

The gentle Launch returned.

"Did… I transform again?" she asked shyly.

"Yeah," Broly replied.

"Did she do anything to you?" Launch asked worriedly.

"It's fine," Broly said.

"Let's continue."

Launch: "..."

She sighed helplessly.

Life after marriage was clearly going to be… interesting.

Meanwhile, back on Master Roshi's island…

Roshi, Krillin, Yamcha, Bulma, and the others had stayed awake all night.

They waited with curiosity and gossip-filled anticipation.

By morning—

Their eyes were bloodshot.

They looked exhausted.

But the room upstairs remained completely silent.

No sounds.

No clues.

Even Kami eventually felt embarrassed staying there.

So he returned to Kami's Lookout.

Later, he went to the Other World to ask King Yemma about the Grand Priest.

After waiting eight hours—

King Yemma checked his records.

But he had never heard of that name.

He scolded Kami for wasting his time with a dream-related question.

Kami barely escaped being punished.

The next day around noon—

Broly and Launch finally returned to the island.

Broly gently carried the exhausted and blushing Launch.

They landed quietly on the beach.

And immediately saw their friends—

All with dark circles under their eyes—

Looking like wilted vegetables after staying awake all night.
