I was getting ready when my phone buzzed.

My gaze fell on the basement keys he gave me yesterday.


"Didn't he say I could know what's down there…"


"I wonder what made him come over, after all he hasn't come back since he left town,"

Knowing his townhouse was near my apartment, I decided to walk over.


I stopped a few feet back as I saw Raymond looking at his house.
