John had already begun to trace the representative's business records.
He also began to check his financial transactions and recent communications as well.
I needed to find out how something I kept away from the media was known by him.
And how or who gave him the courage to accuse me in public.
I was determined to uncover the person who made Veronica's suffering a public matter.
I was pacing in the office when he arrived.
"Overall, he's not much," John said.
"His jewelry house is okay,"
"But he's no rival for you,"
"That gets me to my point,"
"I did find some shady communications and transactions."
" Those transactions are connected to dealings that are only on paper,"
" Meaning, on paper the payment he received is for raw material,"
" In reality the use is something else."
" And he has dealings with Alex."
"But how can Alex pay him for raw material?" I asked.
" Both are jewelry makers, not raw material sellers."
