Will they be separated forever, or will their love become unbreakable? What will be the fate of a relationship whose very foundation was built on deception?

Part 1

A sweet and innocent-looking man was standing in the kitchen, cooking carrot halwa. Beside him stood a woman who was around fifty years old, simply watching him work.

Smiling softly, he said,

"Mom, what do you think? Will she like it?"

The woman looked at his innocent face with affection and replied,

"Why wouldn't she? After all, you're making it with so much love. And honestly, even if I searched the whole world with a lamp in my hand, I would never find a better son-in-law than you."

Hearing the praise, the young man's ears turned red with embarrassment. Lowering his head shyly, he said,

"Oh Mom… now even you are teasing me?"

The woman chuckled and asked,

"Who else teases you?"

While stirring the halwa in the pan, he replied,

"Who else? Your strict daughter. Not even a single word comes out of her mouth. Do you know how much she has troubled me till now? Oh wait… how would you know? Let me tell you…"

He kept talking continuously while the woman listened to him with a smile. Suddenly, her gaze shifted toward the kitchen door behind him.

A girl was standing there in a black business suit. Her eyes were fixed on them with an unreadable expression. Just seeing her there was enough to bring nervousness to the woman's face.

But since the young man had his back toward the door, he couldn't see her and continued speaking.

The woman tried to stop him, but he was completely lost in his own complaints.

"Do you know, yesterday I even gave her a head massage with these delicate hands of mine, but she didn't even say thank you. Your daughter is very… quiet. Not a single word comes out of her mouth. Sometimes an entire month passes before I even hear her voice."

The woman thought in her mind,

"Today this boy has truly decided to send both himself and me straight to heaven. Oh God! What kind of innocent son-in-law have you given me? One day he will definitely drag me into trouble along with him. I have to stop him somehow."

Thinking this, she suddenly said in an angry voice,

"That's enough! Not another word."

"What happened, Mom?" he asked, confused.

She replied sharply,

"I didn't ask you to talk so much. I won't hear another word against my daughter. You've already said too much."

"But Mom…"

He tried to speak, but she didn't give him the chance.

"Quiet. Absolutely quiet," she said, placing her finger on her lips.

"Not another word, otherwise…"

"Otherwise what?" he asked.

"I'll throw you out of the kitchen!"

Immediately, tears filled the innocent man's eyes. In a trembling voice he said,

"You'll throw me out of the kitchen? What kind of mother-in-law are you? You should be happy that I'm trying so hard to make your daughter happy. You were always on my side, and now suddenly you're taking her side?"

The woman, who had been trying to signal him to look behind him the entire time — something he completely failed to understand — finally facepalmed herself while shaking her head.

The girl standing at the door, whose eyes were now filled with tears, spoke softly,

"You didn't stop him… you just…"

Grinding her teeth, the woman replied,

"I tried so hard, but his chapter of complaining about his wife just wouldn't end."

The young man sighed and said,

"So that means… I'll have to make her forgive me."

"Probably yes," the woman replied.

"Will you help me?" he asked hopefully.

The woman smiled mischievously and said,

"Absolutely not."
