Chapter 4: The Crimson Sister

The high-pitched whine of the Commission's "Cleanup" drones cut through the heavy, oil-slicked air of the warehouse district. These weren't standard police units; they were sleek, black-and-chrome interceptors designed to scrub digital footprints and "retrieve" anomalous biological assets.

"Izumi, they're closing in!" Melissa Shield's voice spiked with panic in the earpiece. "I'm trying to ghost your signal, but they've deployed a localized wide-spectrum jammer. If they catch you with that girl, they'll bag both of you!"

Izumi Midoriya didn't hesitate. She gripped Himiko Toga's hand—which was cold and trembling—and pulled her into the maze of rusted shipping containers. "Trust me," Izumi whispered, her voice carrying a rhythmic resonance that seemed to calm the air around them.

Himiko stumbled, her eyes still fixed on the D-Tector at Izumi's hip. "That light... it's still humming inside me," Himiko murmured, clutching her chest. "It feels like... like my blood is turning into electricity."

"That's the Seed, Himiko," Izumi said, checking a corner as a black van screeched to a halt at the warehouse entrance. Men in tactical gear, their faces hidden behind digital-filter masks, poured out. They carried rifles that didn't fire bullets, but containment nets woven from blue energy. "It's waking up because you were near me. We have to get you to the beach. To All Might."

"All Might?" Himiko's voice hitched. "The Number One Hero is helping... people like us?"

"He's the only one who knows the truth," Izumi replied.

They reached a dead end—a towering wall of stacked crates topped with razor wire. Behind them, the heavy boots of the Commission agents thudded against the concrete. The lead agent raised a hand, signaling his team to fan out.

"Target identified," the agent's voice was a synthesized rasp. "Subject 01-Wind and an uncatalogued secondary. Initiate 'Format' protocols. Do not allow them to reach the public sector."

Izumi stood her ground, shielding Himiko. She didn't want to evolve again so soon—her lungs still felt tight from the Kazemon transformation—but she had no choice. She raised the D-Tector, but before she could swipe the screen, the device let out a violent, crimson pulse.

The light didn't come from Izumi. It came from Himiko.

Himiko's shadow began to stretch and flicker, transforming into the silhouette of something tall, elegant, and dangerous. A low, digital growl vibrated in Himiko's throat, though her eyes remained wide and terrified.

"It hurts!" Himiko cried, her skin beginning to shimmer with flickers of red binary code.

"Melissa, what's happening?!" Izumi shouted, the wind beginning to howl in response to the sudden energy spike.

"Her Spirit is reacting to the Commission's jammers!" Melissa yelled back. "The corruption in their tech is forcing her evolution to go haywire! Izumi, you have to stabilize her, or she'll 'Glitch' before she even transforms!"

The lead agent fired. A blue energy net hissed through the air, expanding to trap both girls.

Izumi didn't think. She swiped the D-Tector.

"EXECUTE! SPIRIT EVOLUTION!"

In a burst of emerald light, Kazemon manifested, her butterfly wings shattering the energy net into harmless pixels. She didn't attack the agents; instead, she wrapped her arms around Himiko, funneling her own purified wind energy into the younger girl's crashing system.

"Listen to my heartbeat, Himiko!" Kazemon commanded, her voice a soothing gale. "Don't let the static take you. Find the rhythm!"

The crimson light stabilized. The red static smoothed out into a deep, velvety noir. For a fleeting second, the image of a gothic, cross-bearing warrior—Sistermon Noir—flickered over Himiko's form like a ghost. The shockwave of the stabilization sent the Commission agents flying backward, their electronics short-circuiting in a shower of sparks.

"The bridge..." Himiko whispered, her eyes glowing a soft, determined red before she fainted from the exhaustion.

Kazemon caught her, then looked up at the drones hovering overhead. With a sharp "Hurricane Wave," she sent a blast of pressurized air that knocked the cameras offline, giving them a ten-second window.

She didn't run. She soared.

Carrying Himiko in her arms, Kazemon broke the sound barrier, a streak of violet and crimson vanishing into the night sky toward the only safe haven left: the trash-covered sands of Dagobah Beach.
