Chapter 46 - Chapter 46 Extinguishing the Sun

However, upon hearing this, Leon's expression turned somewhat strange.

He looked at Fury indifferently, as if he were looking at an overconfident ant.

"Pfft…"

This time, it was Tony who couldn't help but laugh out loud.

He really couldn't hold it in.

He curiously observed Fury trying to maintain his composure, attempting to save face by theorizing that the Universe was vast.

He suddenly felt that this party tonight wasn't so bad after all?

At least seeing Fury in a pickle was much more amusing than being in one himself.

Didn't he see that Leon's expression opposite him had already turned into one of looking at an idiot?

Leon also smiled.

He shook his head, seemingly a little helpless at Fury's ignorant fearlessness.

He had made up his mind: before judging Fury, he decided to show off a bit, to make him understand how ridiculous his insistence on power truly was.

"Very good."

He smiled softly, as if he had made some decision.

"Since you're so curious."

"Then I'll open your eyes a little."

As soon as he finished speaking, his body slowly floated up.

He flew off the ground, over the balcony railing, and ascended above Stark Tower, hovering silently in the New York night sky.

The next second.

"Buzz!"

Streaks of golden light appeared out of thin air, quickly converging and assembling on his body!

Soon, a set of golden armor, imbued with a sacred and majestic aura, instantly covered his entire body!

The armor's lines were sleek and magnificent, inscribed with ancient Asgardian runes, and under the illumination of New York's lights, the armor shimmered with a brilliant glow.

A similarly golden cape billowed behind him without wind, like the banner of a God King.

In an instant, Leon was enveloped in a dazzling golden light.

"Oh my God…"

On the balcony, Darcy's mouth hung wide open, as if she would swallow a sparkler the next second.

Below Stark Tower, countless citizens bustling in their nightlife also noticed the anomaly in the sky.

They all stopped in their tracks, then looked up at the figure hovering in the sky like the Sun.

"What is that?!"

"Is it an Angel?"

"No! It's a God! The Sun god has descended!"

Countless exclamations and screams echoed through the streets and alleys of New York.

Innumerable phones and cameras were aimed at the golden figure in the sky, their flashes creating a sea of stars.

However, Leon in the sky was oblivious to everything below.

He calmly raised his right hand.

Then, he lightly drew a line in the void with his right hand.

"Screech!"

Space was torn open, golden light crackled, and a dark rift appeared out of thin air!

Immediately after, to the horrified gazes of everyone.

A golden greatsword, burning with golden flames and emitting scorching energy, began to be drawn from the spatial rift!

The sword body was long and slender, with powerful golden divine energy flowing over it.

As Leon's right hand slid to the left, the greatsword gradually revealed itself before everyone.

The position where the sword body appeared just covered the lower half of Leon's face, revealing only a pair of eyes burning with golden light.

That's right, this was the Sun god Sword, Surtr!

Soon, the longsword emerged from the spatial rift… "Clang!!!!"

With the hum of the sword, two dazzling golden lights burst forth from Leon's eyes!

Not only that, but the golden light on his body also surged dramatically!

At this moment, he had transformed into a small Sun suspended above New York!

The dazzling light seemed to dim the lights of New York City!

The terrifying heat caused the top floor of Stark Tower to begin to warp!

But under Leon's control, it did not cause widespread destruction.

Except for Thor, everyone on the balcony retreated.

They could only shield themselves with their arms from the light and heat that almost melted them!

"Thor!"

Just then, the god-like figure in the sky spoke.

His tone was no longer gentle, but carried supreme majesty.

"Watch closely!"

"Today, I'll show you why I am stronger than you!"

As soon as he finished speaking!

He raised the Sun god Sword in his hand high, its tip pointing directly at the sky!

"Listen to the beauty of the Sun!"

"Open!"

The moment the word "Open" left his lips!

"Boom!!!"

A golden pillar of light, piercing through heaven and Earth, rapidly erupted from the tip of the Sun god Sword!

The light pillar instantly pierced through the clouds above New York, tore through Earth's atmosphere, and rushed into deep space at an extremely fast speed!

And then… the next second.

Points of light appeared in the dark night sky, then suddenly grew larger in the next instant.

Buzz!

The entire World was suddenly enveloped in dazzling light!

The sky brightened!

That's right, what was originally night had now turned into day.

But strangely, the Sun had come out, but the Moon hadn't left!

Sun and Moon in the same sky!

Before anyone could react, Leon pointed to the sky again!

"Extinguish!"

Next, a shocking scene occurred!

The Sun in the sky suddenly went out.

That's right, the Sun in the sky disappeared, and the World plunged into darkness again!

Absolute darkness! Not a single ray of light!

The entire World, regardless of east, west, north, or south, simultaneously lost its light.

Whether it was day or night, whether it was city or countryside.

All lights, all flames, all light.

Were forcefully erased at this moment.

Panic instantly swept across the globe.

And on the top floor of Stark Tower.

In the dead silence of darkness, the only source of light was the figure still emitting dazzling golden light in the sky.

He was like the only God in the darkness.

Indifferently, looking down at the panicked civilians below.

Who knows how long passed, maybe a second, maybe a century.

The god-like figure in the sky slowly descended from the sky, returning to the balcony.

His armor and divine sword transformed into golden specks of light, dissipating into the air.

He had returned to being the man with a gentle smile on his face.

Leon looked at the stunned crowd, a slight smile on his face.

"Now, do you understand?"

No one answered.

Everyone's minds were still reeling from the recent shock, unable to extricate themselves.

Leon looked at their dumbfounded expressions, seemingly sighing with a hint of helplessness.

Then, he raised his hand and casually snapped his fingers under everyone's gaze.

"Snap."

A crisp sound.

The next second.

Light returned to the human World.

The extinguished Sun in the sky reignited with light and heat.

Lights across the World also flickered on again, then off again, then on again in the city, as if nothing had happened.

It was as if the darkness that had swept the globe was just an illusion.

Light returned to the balcony.

But the atmosphere was even more silent than the darkness just now.

Everyone looked at Leon as if he were a monster.

Just then.

A voice, tinged with a complaint, quietly sounded.

"Wait…"

It was Tony.

He leaned back on the sofa, his face pale, his eyes unfocused, as if his body had been drained.

He looked at Leon, and with all his strength, asked a question.

"Something you could do with a snap of your fingers…"

"Why did you have to fly into the sky and make such a grand display just now?"

Leon:???

Everyone held back their laughter, but dared not laugh.

Thor, the only one smiling, also closed his mouth after a death glare from Leon.

Everyone's thoughts returned to that scene just now.

What exactly happened just now?

Did the Sun really go out?

Was the darkness really caused by him alone?

The laughter abruptly stopped.

The atmosphere became oppressive again.

If before, Leon was a powerful, mysterious God who enjoyed watching the show in their eyes.

Then now, after witnessing this great power firsthand, the concept of the Sun god was truly etched into their minds.

This is what a God should be like, not someone who only plays with a hammer!

Fury took a deep breath, his chest rising and falling slightly.

He didn't smile.

He hadn't smiled the entire time.

He had been staring intently at Leon, trying to maintain his sanity.

He forcefully suppressed his thoughts and asked the question everyone wanted to ask but dared not.

"What was that?"

Fury's voice was deep; this was his first loss of composure since taking charge of S.H.I.E.L.D.

"The extinguished Sun, was that your doing?"

Upon hearing this, Leon shifted his gaze from Tony back to Fury.

The helplessness on his face gradually receded, replaced by an amused smile.

He didn't directly answer Fury's question, but instead picked up his wine glass and took a small sip.

"Cotton gin." He slowly began.

"Have you ever seen the true Sun?"

"Not the gas Planet observed by Earthlings through telescopes."

"But the primordial light."

Fury's brows furrowed tightly.

What was he saying?

Primordial? Light?

These mystical terms made him feel a surge of irritation.

What he needed was intelligence, data, facts that could be analyzed and evaluated!

Not this sort of pretentious philosophical theory!

However, before he could press for more.

Another voice asked a more specific question for him.

"Skrulls."

It was still Tony who asked.

He stared intently at Leon, as if trying to see right through him.

"What are the Skrulls you just mentioned?"

Compared to a miracle like extinguishing the Sun, which was beyond comprehension, Tony was clearly more interested in this specific threat.

Aliens that can shapeshift at will?

Infiltrated human society?

This intelligence was extremely valuable.

Leon raised an eyebrow when he heard Tony's question.

See, this is the difference between a genius and an Agent.

An Agent cares about how strong you are and whether you will threaten him.

While a genius cares about what you are, and how he should understand you.

He didn't answer Tony directly, but instead turned his gaze to the silent Thor.

"Thor." Leon's tone was casual.

"You explain it to them."
