Asta scratched his head awkwardly at the Wizard King's praise. After all, he had just been thrown up there.
Below the stage, Cedric thought for a moment. As a good subordinate, he had to give his boss some face.
In the next instant, he used a swift movement technique and appeared on the platform.
"I heard the three of them are from the same village, all commoners from the Forsaken Realm," Sekke stirred trouble from below.
Words like commoner and lowborn quickly spread through the crowd.
As expected, this kingdom is rotten to the core.
"Cedric, come fight me."
Yuno's eyes were sharp. Ever since gaining recognition, he had wanted to test himself against Cedric again. Now, having defeated one of the Diamond Kingdom's Eight Shining Generals, his confidence had grown immensely.
"Fine. I was thinking the same. Everyone, step back. You might get hurt."

The captains reacted instantly, dodging with ease, but the nobles were not so fortunate.
"How dare you attack me? I am a noble!" one man shouted from the ground.

Floating in the air, Yuno's expression changed. He did not expect Cedric to use such a dangerous spell immediately, even involving civilians. Blood dripped from the branches below.
"I told you to move. You chose to stay. Who is to blame? I will say it one last time. Move aside."
"You have gone too far. Attacking people in front of the Magic Knight Captains." Nozel Silva stepped forward, brushing back his hair.
"Let me ask you something, Captain. If I swing a blade at you, will you dodge?"
"Of course I would. I am not a fool..."
Nozel paused, realizing Cedric's intent.
"I will say it again. Move aside. This place is about to become a battlefield. Right, Yuno?"
Yuno remained silent, but he agreed.
The crowd quickly scattered this time. They had learned their lesson.
"Nozel, let them continue." The Wizard King raised a hand, curiosity evident in his eyes.

Yuno was released, glancing at Cedric with mixed emotions.
"Ladies and gentlemen, the disturbance has been handled. Now, please welcome His Majesty, the King of the Clover Kingdom, Augustus Kira Clover XIII."
A short, awkward-looking man with a small mustache descended the stairs, waving his scepter dramatically.
"I am your king. Why are none of you kneeling?"
The crowd fell into silence.
"The king? We have a king?"
"I thought the Wizard King was the ruler."
"Then tell me, what has the king ever done?"
That question left people speechless.
On the stage, the king turned toward Julius.
"Julius, are you trying to steal my spotlight again?"
His expression twisted with frustration. As the king, his authority was overshadowed by the Wizard King.
"Citizens, behold my magic."
Golden light radiated from his body.
"Wow, amazing. But what does it actually do?" Asta asked bluntly.
The king's face darkened.
"You insolent commoner. I will execute you. And those two as well." He pointed at Asta, Yuno, and Cedric.
The crowd grew uneasy.
So our king is just a fool.
"Ahem, His Majesty is joking. This time, he has an important announcement." Julius quickly intervened.
The king straightened himself.
"Very well. I will not lower myself to their level. Listen carefully. We have discovered the headquarters of the Eye of the Midnight Sun. In a few days, we will launch an attack."
"To ensure success, we will select elite Magic Knights from all squads to form a special unit known as the Royal Knights."
Murmurs spread through the crowd.
"Why should I join? I only admire the Wizard King and the captains. Besides, the king looks weak."
"Idiot, just stay quiet." Yuno nudged Asta.
Cedric smirked slightly. "He does seem rather insignificant."
"Asta, sometimes telling the truth is not wise."
The king trembled with anger.
"I will execute all of you."
"Please calm down, Your Majesty. These young men will become the shields of this kingdom." Julius intervened once more.
The citizens exchanged glances, doubt growing in their hearts.
"The Royal Knights... this is interesting. All Magic Knights, give it your all." Julius declared.
Cheers erupted across the square.
Every captain understood the significance. Being selected would greatly enhance their squad's reputation.
Meanwhile, Charlotte, still drunk, had yet to wake up.
After the festival ended, Cedric was quietly pulled aside by the Wizard King.
"Um... Cedric, could you teach me that spatial magic of yours?"
Cedric stared at him.
"You called me here just to ask that?"
