Chapter 41 - 41: The Heir of the Void and the Galactic Echo

The world had found its peace, but for Arthur, the real challenge had only just begun. It had been exactly seven days since the fall of the Origin Forge, but in the life of his son—whom Arthur named Aiden—those seven days were like seven years.

Born from the very sweat, blood, and divine essence of the Monarch of the Void, Aiden wasn't a normal human. By the third day, he was walking. By the fifth, he was speaking in complete sentences. And by the seventh, he was asking questions that made even Arthur's Level 1500 mind tremble.

"Dad," Aiden asked, sitting on a pile of rubble that used to be an S-Rank dungeon gate. He was holding a small wooden bird Arthur had carved for him. "Why does the air feel so... hungry?"

Arthur paused, his heart skipping a beat. He looked up at the sky. To the rest of the world, it was a beautiful, clear blue. But with his Sovereign eyes, he could see the truth. The 'System' was gone, but it had left a vacuum—a hole in the cosmic fabric that was now attracting predators from the Outer Void.

"It's just the wind, son," Arthur lied, his voice a bit raspy. He reached out and ruffled Aiden's violet hair.

Suddenly, Aiden squeezed the wooden bird.

[Ding!]

[1000x Multiplier Accidentally Triggered by the Heir!]

[Object 'Wooden Bird' has been transmuted into 'Divine Phoenix Core'!]

The small wooden toy exploded with a heat that could have melted a city. The shockwave flattened the trees for miles. Arthur reacted instantly, wrapping his dark violet aura around Aiden to protect him.

"Whoops," Aiden said, looking at the glowing, pulsating crystal in his hand. He didn't look scared; he looked curious.

Arthur stared at the crystal. His own 100x multiplier was powerful, but his son... his son was born with a 1000x Multiplier that he couldn't even control yet.

"Aiden," Arthur said, his voice serious. "We need to talk about the 'Magic' inside you. It's not a toy. It's a beacon."

The Shadow from the Stars

In the deep reaches of the Andromeda Galaxy, a being made of pure dark matter opened its eyes. It was Voros, the Eater of Dimensions. For eons, Voros had avoided the Earth's sector because the 'Great Twelve' were efficient farmers who protected their crops.

But now, the gods were dead. The 'System' was broken. And a power—a 'Miracle'—had been born that tasted sweeter than a trillion harvested souls.

"A child of the Void..." Voros's voice echoed through the vacuum of space, causing stars to flicker and die. "A source of infinite multiplication. I must have it."

Back on Earth, Arthur felt a cold shiver run down his spine. His 100x Danger Sense was screaming. This wasn't the Architect. This wasn't Zeus. This was something that existed before the first line of code was ever written.

"Aiden, stay behind me," Arthur commanded, his dark gold armor manifesting around him in an instant.

The ground beneath the slums didn't just crack; it dissolved. A rift opened, but it wasn't white or golden. It was a shifting, oily black that seemed to suck the very color out of the world.

The First Lesson

A massive, clawed hand, made of swirling nebulae and dead stars, reached out from the rift. It was heading straight for Aiden.

Arthur didn't hesitate. He drew 'Void-Render', the blade now glowing with a fury that matched his fatherly rage.

"100x Multiplier... Void Decapitation!"

Arthur struck the claw. The impact sent a shockwave that was felt by every living soul on the planet. But the claw didn't break. It simply absorbed the hit and kept moving.

"Dad, let me help!" Aiden shouted.

"No! Stay back!" Arthur roared, his muscles straining as he tried to push back the cosmic limb.

But Aiden didn't listen. He saw his father struggling—the man who had carried the world on his shoulders was finally bending. Aiden's eyes turned a solid, glowing violet. He reached out and touched Arthur's back.

[Ding!]

[1000x Multiplier + 100x Multiplier: RESONANCE!]

[Combined Multiplier: 100,000x!]

Arthur felt a surge of power that nearly liquified his bones. It wasn't just mana; it was the raw, unadulterated energy of a new universe. His armor turned from dark gold to a blinding, crystalline white.

"Now, Dad!" Aiden yelled.

Arthur swung his blade again. This time, he didn't just cut the claw; he severed the connection between this dimension and the next. The dark nebula screamed as its limb was vaporized into nothingness.

[Level Up! Host reached Level 2000!]

[Aiden (The Heir) reached Level 100!]

The rift slammed shut, but the silence that followed was heavy. Arthur looked at his son, who was now breathing heavily, his small hands glowing with a light that shouldn't exist in a mortal world.

"You're a porter now too, Aiden," Arthur said, kneeling down and hugging the boy. "But you're not carrying bags of loot. You're carrying the weight of a miracle. And I'm going to make sure you never have to carry it alone."

The New Quest

Arthur looked up at the stars. He knew this was just the beginning. The 'Voros' he had just fought was just a shadow. The real entity was coming. And it wasn't the only one. The 'Grand Council of the Outer Void' would not allow a child with a 1000x multiplier to exist.

"System," Arthur whispered in his mind. "Show me the next objective."

[New Ultimate Quest: 'The Guardian of the Heir'!]

[Objective: Protect Aiden from the 7 Cosmic Devourers.]

[Reward: Total Transcedence of the Origin.]

"Tea time is over, old man," Arthur said to the slum-dweller who was watching with wide eyes. "Pack your things. We're moving."

"Moving where, Dad?" Aiden asked.

"To the stars, son," Arthur said, picking up the boy. "We're going to show the universe that a porter's son is the most dangerous thing in existence."
