Chapter 5 - THE CELESTIAL GUARDIAN Chapter 5 – The Rise of Rakshor

A violent storm raged across the peaks of the Himalayan mountains.

Lightning flashed across the dark sky, illuminating the jagged cliffs and deep valleys below. The wind howled like a warning carried by the mountains themselves.

But far beyond the peaceful temple where Arjun was training, hidden deep inside a frozen mountain, stood a fortress unlike any other.

The fortress was carved from black stone, darker than night itself.

Ancient symbols of darkness glowed faintly along its massive walls.

Inside this fortress lived the one being whose name had been feared for thousands of years.

Rakshor.

The Throne of Darkness

Deep inside the fortress stood a massive throne hall lit by eerie red flames.

The hall was filled with monstrous creatures of every kind—shadow beasts, armored demons, and dark sorcerers who served the ruler of this terrifying army.

At the far end of the hall sat Rakshor upon his throne.

His body was enormous, nearly nine feet tall, covered in dark armor that seemed to grow directly from his skin. His glowing red eyes burned like fire in the darkness.

For centuries he had remained hidden, slowly gathering power and waiting for the right moment.

Now that moment had arrived.

One of his generals knelt before him.

"My lord, the Shadow Demons have been destroyed."

Rakshor did not look surprised.

Instead, a slow smile appeared on his face.

"So the boy survived."

The general continued carefully.

"The Guardian's power appears to be awakening faster than expected."

Rakshor leaned forward slightly.

"Good."

The general looked confused.

"Good… my lord?"

Rakshor stood up from his throne.

The ground trembled beneath his heavy steps.

"Yes."

His deep voice echoed through the entire hall.

"A weak Guardian would be boring."

The Ancient War

Rakshor walked toward a massive stone wall where an ancient carving showed a battle between warriors of light and creatures of darkness.

"This war began thousands of years ago," he said slowly.

"Before your kind even existed."

The generals listened silently.

Rakshor pointed at the carving.

"That warrior…"

The image showed a glowing figure surrounded by celestial light.

"Was the first Celestial Guardian."

His claws slowly scratched across the stone.

"He defeated me once."

The room grew silent.

No one had ever heard Rakshor speak about defeat.

The dark lord continued.

"But he did not destroy me."

Instead, he locked me away beneath the mountains… believing the Guardian line would protect the world forever."

Rakshor's red eyes burned brighter.

"But guardians grow weak."

"Kingdoms fall."

"Generations forget."

He turned back toward his army.

"And now the time has come to finish what I started."

The Dark Ritual

Rakshor walked toward a giant pit in the center of the hall.

The pit was filled with swirling shadows that moved like living creatures.

He raised both hands.

Dark energy poured from his body into the pit.

The shadows twisted violently.

Suddenly—

Three massive monsters slowly rose from the darkness.

These creatures were far more terrifying than the Shadow Demons.

Their bodies were covered in thick black armor plates. Their claws were longer than swords, and their glowing eyes were filled with hunger.

The generals stepped back in fear.

Rakshor smiled.

"These are the Night Beasts."

"They were created from pure darkness."

He looked directly at the creatures.

"And they obey only me."

The beasts bowed their massive heads.

Rakshor gave them a simple command.

"Find the Guardian."

"Destroy him before he becomes strong."

The monsters roared in agreement.

Then they leapt into the shadows and vanished.

The Dark Prophecy

After the creatures left, one of Rakshor's oldest advisors stepped forward.

"My lord… there is something you should know."

Rakshor turned.

"What?"

The advisor spoke carefully.

"Our ancient texts speak of a prophecy."

Rakshor's eyes narrowed.

"Continue."

The advisor opened an old black scroll.

"The prophecy says that when the final Guardian awakens…"

He hesitated.

Rakshor growled.

"Speak."

"The Guardian will gain the power of the Celestial Core… a power capable of destroying even you."

For a moment the hall became completely silent.

Then Rakshor suddenly laughed.

A deep, terrifying laugh that echoed through the fortress.

"You believe in prophecies?"

The advisor bowed his head.

"They have been correct before."

Rakshor stepped closer.

His shadow stretched across the floor like a living creature.

"Prophecies are written by those who fear the future."

He grabbed the scroll and crushed it in his hand.

"I create the future."

The advisor stepped back nervously.

"But my lord… if the boy reaches his full power—"

Rakshor's voice suddenly became cold.

"Then we will make sure he never gets the chance."

A Glimpse of the Enemy

Rakshor walked toward a dark pool of magic in the center of the hall.

The surface of the pool rippled like black water.

He placed his hand above it.

Dark energy spread across the surface.

Suddenly—

An image appeared inside the pool.

It showed the mountain temple where Arjun was training.

Rakshor watched as Arjun practiced energy control under the guidance of the ancient sage.

The dark lord studied the boy carefully.

"So this is the new Guardian."

He tilted his head slightly.

"Still young… still inexperienced."

Rakshor's smile returned.

"But the power inside him…"

He could feel it even from this distance.

"Yes… this will be interesting."

He waved his hand.

The image disappeared.

The Army Awakens

Rakshor turned toward his generals again.

"Prepare the armies."

The generals looked surprised.

"My lord… already?"

"Yes."

The dark lord's voice echoed like thunder.

"The world believes monsters are myths."

"They believe darkness is only a story."

He raised his hand.

Dark lightning filled the hall.

"It is time to remind them."

The giant fortress doors slowly opened.

Outside, thousands of dark creatures waited across the mountain valley.

An entire army of monsters.

Rakshor stepped onto the balcony overlooking them.

The storm above him roared violently.

"Warriors of the abyss!" he shouted.

The army roared back.

"The age of darkness begins again!"

Lightning struck the mountains as his voice echoed across the valley.

"And this time…"

His eyes burned like fire.

"No Guardian will stop me."

Back at the Temple

At that same moment, far away at the mountain temple…

Arjun suddenly stopped his training.

A strange chill ran through his body.

Rishi Vayun noticed immediately.

"You felt it, didn't you?"

Arjun nodded slowly.

"Yes."

"Something powerful."

The sage looked toward the distant mountains.

"Rakshor has begun to move."

Ravi frowned.

"That doesn't sound good."

The sage shook his head.

"No."

"It means we have less time than I hoped."

He turned toward Arjun.

"Your training must become harder."

Arjun looked determined.

"I'm ready."

But deep in his heart…

He knew the coming battle would be far greater than anything he had faced before.

Because somewhere in the darkness—

An ancient evil had finally begun to rise again.
