"All the members of the cult have successfully infiltrated the empire."
Adrian paused.
'Hmm…'
"Give me the details."
Nelliel nodded.
"As you had instructed, the cult successfully created fake remains of a destroyed village. It took a significant amount of resources to make those remains look real enough. After a few soldiers went and confirmed the remains, all cult members were allowed to enter the empire's borders. They are all currently living as refugees in a border count's territory."
"I see." He thought for a bit. "I am assuming there weren't any complications."
She shook her head.
"No, there weren't."
'Looks like things went smoothly.'
He had thought that some problems would arise. After all, things rarely went as planned in real life. And so, he had even thought of a few countermeasures. But it seemed that those wouldn't be necessary anymore.
Nelliel pulled up a wooden chair and casually sat on it as she looked at him intently.
