The night sky above the kingdom of Valeria was unusually dark.
No stars.
No moon.
Only a strange black light hanging in the sky like a silent warning.
Inside a small village near the mountains lived a young man named Kael. He was known as a simple blacksmith's son. Every day he helped his father repair swords and armor for travelers and soldiers.
But Kael had always felt different.
Sometimes he saw strange dreams—visions of ancient castles, burning skies, and a crown made of shadows.
He never told anyone.
One night, while walking outside the village, Kael saw something falling from the sky. A bright object crashed deep in the forest.
Curiosity pulled him toward it.
When he reached the crash site, he saw a strange sword stuck in a black stone.
The blade was dark, but glowing with a faint silver light.
As soon as Kael touched the sword, the ground trembled.
A whisper echoed in the air.
"At last… the heir has returned."
Kael quickly pulled his hand away.
"Who said that?"
Silence.
Then suddenly, the sword moved by itself and flew into his hand.
Far away, in a dark castle beyond the mountains, a mysterious figure opened his eyes.
"The Shadow King… has awakened."
The war for the forgotten throne had begun.
