It had been a week since Aubrey and Zypher had been going out. Saphina often heard Aubrey talk about her dates with him.
-Zyph…I really miss hanging out with him…it would be wrong for me to invite him for dinner or something like that…it just feels wrong. Not just that I miss him but also that Aubrey is going out with him. I just…I don't like it.
Saphina stood up and walked out of the cafeteria. She couldn't bare to see them together anymore.
In the distance she saw Max and Leon, Zyphers friends. She normally wouldn't just go to them , especially since she had never talked to them before but she wanted to find out if they knew why and how Zypher came to like Aubrey.
Leon noticed her.
,,Ey isn't that Saphina?"
She walked towards them and surprisingly saw Fate there as well. She sat down next to Fate.
,,Uhm excuse me…I didn't want to disturb but I had a few questions that I hoped you would be able to answer."
She was shy but still very friendly.
Fate seemed annoyed to see her but Max and Leon smiled.
,,Well you might actually be able to help us as well, so how about this, we answer your questions and you help us with a problem. I have a suspicion that our main issue is related."
Max was calm.
-A problem that I can help with? Weird but …I don't mind it.
,,I accept but first I would want you to answer my questions."
Max and Leon nodded, satisfied with the response.
,,Did Zyph ever tell you about his feelings toward Aubrey and why they started going out?"
Leon wanted to answer but Max interrupted and took the initiative himself.
,,We had asked him after he told us that he was going out with her. He said that he really loves her and that he was captivated by her. He said they began hanging out after a romantic moment at a park. As I suspected our problems are quite similar. I am not certain if you feel the same but the entire situation seems weird. They became a couple way too quickly and well…I have some knowledge about Aubrey which is why our goal is to break up the two of them."
Saphina gasped at the thought.
-They want to break them up?…And what kind of knowledge does Max have about Aubrey for him to be this persistent?
,,What kind of knowledge do you have that it makes it so serious for you to break them up?"
Max told her about the past of Aubrey and what had happened to her previous relationships.
-It's a stretch to call all of those stories about her relationships to be connected but I somehow have the feeling that it's true and if it's true than I must save Zyph…
,,I'm in…but I need to think about it more carefully first…you can message me about more details."
Saphina left the table and walked away as the bell rung.

Zypher was in an unusually awkward position, his girlfriend Aubrey was resting her head on his shoulder and he started to reflect on his feelings towards Aubrey.
-I've never felt this way about someone before but something doesn't feel quite right for some reason. She's a very good person but ever since I started to go out with her I had less and less time to meet with my friends or even just be by myself.
The memories of the times he hung out with his friends made him smile
-I saw them earlier talking with Saph and Fate, it's quite unusual to see those talking together.
Aubrey seemed to notice his gloomy eyes and decided to speak up.
,,Is something bothering you ? You seem a bit sad , did I do something wrong?"
,,No don't worry, you didn't do anything wrong. It's just that I was thinking how I am hanging out less with my friends and I guess…it just made me feel a bit lonely since I haven't talked to them in some time"
Aubrey looked surprised at the mention of his friends
,,Actually…Earlier I overheard them talking at a Table Zyph… at first I didn't want to tell you but it might be better if you know."
,,What did they talk about?"
Zypher was very curious to find out, even more so since Aubrey told that in a rather negative tone.
,,I heard them talk about wanting to make us break up. They don't like me apparently and so they want to take me from you."
Zypher was shocked to say the least. His friends whom he trusted more than anyone else went behind his back to talk about a way to break up the relationship between him and Aubrey when he finally started to feel happy…
-I can't believe it…it can't be
Aubrey's eyes were looking at his, he loved Aubrey…she made him happy, and if his friends wanted to break them up they would take away his happiness.
-Maybe they never liked me to begin with…
Zyphers thoughts began to be filled with negative thoughts and emotions. He believed everything that Aubrey said as if it was the undeniable truth. He didn't seem to notice that she had already infected his mind with her presence.
,,I won't let that happen! No matter what, I won't let you go! It seems like they were never my friends…I should let them go…"
Aubrey smirked at his words but quickly hid her satisfaction when he looked at her.
,,If you think it's the right thing to do then I'll support you."
She pulled him closer and hugged him, he was now truly under her control.
