Chapter 1 : Worm of doubt
High in the sky the scorching hot sun looms over a desolate desert. Sandstorms rage on the landscape, taking everything with them. Against it all, three figures move — faces wrapped in cloth showing nothing but darkness, walking toward a goal nowhere to be seen.
"Move fast slave we aren't here on a picnic "
The man moving in front scolds the last man following them slowly
Then the man in middle look at the slave and shakes his head
"That's the issue with these imperial scums there body is just not built for traveling around , they are essentially the embodiment of laziness"
Man in front looks in the sky at the scorching sky
"Make a camp here solar flare is about to start I don't want to become a roasted chicken "
Slave looks at the men in front whom removed his face cloth soon a pale young man with silver hair and blue eyes looks at the slave in his eyes as going to devour him
"Don't make me repeat myself imperial the solar flare will kill us all "
The slave quickly starts to do something some hand seal and screams
"Sand Surfer!!."
Soon white sparks manifest and starts to weave a ship made up of wood out of nowhere
Ship looks beautiful and cool to touch but on the side of the ship is large claw marks the mast of the ship seems broken
"Quick get inside the sand surfers "
Says the man in the middle
All three man then quickly climbed inside the wooden boat using a small ladder
" the boat was still repairing when I summoned it so, be careful the floors could break down as the last battle scars with sand giant is still visible "
Man with white hair looks at sky again then looks at his wrist where a simple watch shows time 13:45
" go in our own rooms when the solar flares ends, we'll discuss the next plan on the deck."
White haired man moves inside a dark room then he gently takes the oil lamp and lights it up with small match box, then he looks around trying to find something in the not well lit room, in the corner of the room is small desk with a large pile of books on it the white haired man moves toward the desk pull the wooden chair which was tucked under the wooden table and sits on the chair looking at the pile of books with regret
' I just don't have the time to read them anymore' he looks at the ceiling of the boat which looks very different then outside it's made of premium enchanted wood then he sighs and say something internal
'Status'
In front of white haired man white sparks started weaving something, now a big white sheet as thin as paper yet shining so Brightly as if illuminated by the sun itself.
On the thin sheet small words are written the man then focuses his gaze on the words

Time moved quickly, the white haired man looks at his watch 17:25 then he hears a knock on his door tut-tock tut-tock, he stand up walk toward the door
" Hey, Nox it's time to move "
Nox looks at middle aged men in the eyes
"Yeah caspian I'll be ready in 5 mins "
Nox closes the door and starts to packs his stuff in a hurry moves toward the door with a grim resolve before he leaves the room he looks at the books for the last...
'Could this journey be last?'

Soon Nox meets up with caspain on the deck grilling something which looks like a worm seeing Nox approaching caspian waves his hand at him as if inviting him
" Nox come fast I've got a great snack "
Soon Nox joins caspian and imperial slave
"Caspian are we seriously going to eat this "
Caspian look at the roasting worm
" Food is Food Nox , the body doesnt care where you get the nutrients from now come sit with us eat "
Nox takes seat beside caspian watching the campfire Nox remembers the old time
'We used to sit around the campfire roast food too, sigh im slowly forgetting her face '
Thump thump doom doom doom
Nox quickly looks at and see the sand worm charging at the ship at unimaginable speed, both Nox and Caspian jumps to action while summoning there weapon they scream at the slave
" don't just fucking look around slave quickly dismiss the ship we're fighting the Sand Worm "
Imperial slaves quickly starts to weave hand signs and the ships dissolves into white sparks then those spark moved into the chest of the slave, looking above the sand worm could be seen coming, Nox looks at the sky above has turned dark the desolate desert now cool around them monster are getting active as the night fuels there blood lust
Before the sandworm could even reach them a big statue made up of sand almost as big as 300 meter tall grabbed the sand worm and tossed it aside but the sand worm was Persistent it still moved toward Nox's small Cohort

The sand worm lunged at them from below the ground but sensing it the vibration of the earth Nox moves party toward the different side the sand worm came out of the sand to catch its prey but couldn't find anything, Nox could see that he and his party were hairs breath away from the sand worm he could see his reflection in the eyes on the sand worm when it burrowed it self again
'This might as well be my last journey!!'
"Hey slave give me oath torch "
Slave hesitantly asks Nox
"Are you mad you'll get us all killed "
Nox grits his teeth
"just give it to me I'll get sand giant attention if this sandworm lives another day we won't "
The slave quickly summons the oath touch
In his hands black flame started to manifest from those within those flames a weapon manifested it was long slender piece of wood hand crafted with precision on the top of the long stick was metal cage which had dim blueish light illuminating the area around them as soon the black flame was gone the monster around them become much more ferocious killing everything insight the vibrations beneath them grew much stronger as the torch was doing its work
The imperial then handed the torch into the hands of Nox put a hand on his shoulder
"Don't die Nox without you who'll me my next master I don't want this old bastard to command me "
Nox takes the torch from the hands of the slave
"I'll be back " then Nox started running toward the sand giant the ground beneath the slave and caspian stopped shaking and started to follow Nox who was running toward the sand giant

The sand giant has shifted it focus toward the oath torch suddenly the ground beneath Nox was gone instead there was giant maw with 1000s of teeth trying to take bite out of Nox but before it could Nox summoned the sand castle soon the as sand around Nox started to gather and mix with white sparks the sand also fell inside the maw of the sand worm then Nox dismissed the sand castle the sand which was attracted to the white sparks were gone back inside Nox radiance core Sand then fell in the maw of the sand worm, sand flowed like water in the maw of the giant sand worm Nox put one of his legs of the teeth of the sand worm and jumped as high as he could at one point Nox was flying in the air then it quickly turned into free fall but when Nox was about could reach the ground something heavy smashed into him disorienting him, Nox understood that the sand giant has taken the bait he quickly dismissed the oath torch and summoned the broken shard soon black flames came in Nox hands in those black flame a brilliant golden double edge sword manifested Nox quickly turned its passive enchantment on "will of the world" the giant hand which catched Nox opened and he started to free fall again beneath him the sand worm again appeared but Nox's sword enchantment moved him far left from the maw of sand worm, the sand worm munched the hand of sand giant both become entangled, free falling Nox straightened himself as soon as the opportunity come in a shape of of a big black eye which reflected back the world like clear mirror, the time stopped as if in trance, Nox could see himself clearly in the reflection ' 1 year ago I couldn't have thought I would be doing stuff life this ' then in the frozen trance of time Nox plunged his sword in the pool of blackness which is eye the of sand worm which then quivered then it blasted, black ominous sand flew from the blasted body of the sand worm painting nearby things black in color
last thing Nox heard was Spark of life telling him something
You have slain a great desert worm
You radiance grows brighter
Then everything turned pitch black
Nox started to free fall again
