Looking at his increasing points he was happy and he was feeling a sense of fullfilment
Looking at time he dressed up and left his home to meet Subha
He went to a nearby hotel had his breakfast a special masala dosa and went towards lab in an auto
At 9:30 he reached his destination , he paid the driver for his services and entered the institute
When he entered the laboratory he saw Subha was already there, hunched over a secondary monitor. She was wearing the same focused expression from their first meeting, her hair pulled back, a half-empty cup of coffee sitting near a stack of gene-sequencing printouts. She looked up as he entered and nodded—a professional acknowledgment that he was on time.
"Aditya," she said, gesturing to the stool next to her. "I stayed late on Friday running the simulations with the sulfur-bond adjustments you mentioned. The stability improved by 14%, but the 'awakening' sequence still won't trigger in the digital model. It's like the data is there, but the execution command is missing."
Aditya sat down, setting his bag on the bench. He didn't need to look at the screen to know why.
"The execution command isn't digital, Subha," Aditya said, his voice calm. "You're trying to start a high-performance engine using a laptop battery. The DNA you're looking at—Bodhidharma's DNA—is designed to respond to a specific neural load. If the host's nervous system isn't 'tuned' to that frequency, the sequence stays dormant."
He leaned in, pointing to the T-cell cluster on the monitor.
"You see this gap? That's not a missing protein. That's a neural bridge. In the 6th century, they didn't use lab equipment to trigger this. They used Varma points to spike the bio-electrical charge in the Vagus nerve. Without that spike, the 'junk' DNA never unpacks."
Subha saw the monitor ,her brow furrowed
"Bio-electrical spikes.... that means we can't prove it in petridish"
"Exactly", Aditya said. "We need a body to act as a catalyst"
As they continued their discussion Subha had found many of the problems that had been huge for her to resolve were solved so easily.
"Thank you, Aditya you don't know what a huge help you have been for me", Subha said.
"That's alright but do you have anyone we can perform on and whom do you want to bring back", Aditya asked
"I have a candidate in my mind ", Subha said
"His ancestor was the reason for research direction" ,she replied
Then she told him how her research started .How two years ago she came across the book of Bodhidharma . There she got to know how advanced his genetic research were and then she further studied about him and got to know about his other abilities and skills and after that she decided that she will bring him back.
She went to village meet his descendents got their blood samples and while doing that she went to a house where saw a photo of a person whose face was a matching Bhodhidharma's face .She asked about him and found out about him an took some of hair sample from used comb for his DNA. She even tested his DNA with Bodhidharma and got a match over 80%
"So, who is this man you are talking about?", he asked knowing about whom she was talking about.
"His name is Arvind. For now that's all i can tell you ", She replied
"Okey! now did you contact him has he agreed to participate in the experiment" , he asked
"No, but i will contact him soon , but first i need to finish and summarise everything that will take another month and show my research to Genetic department so they approve it and fund me", Subha said.
With Aditya's help her research and jumped by leaps compared to movie time line
"Wish you all the best!", Aditya wished her knowing she will fail miserably .
"Thank you", She replied.
He then left her and lab and went outside .
When he was going on auto he thought of buying a bike because he missed is Harley
He decided he will buy a bike next day and went home.
In his home he had his lunch and went to sleep.
He lay on his bed and went through everything in his mind.
Subha's research was essentially complete. DNA proof solid. Aravind identified and confirmed. Department presentation coming in a month — which would fail exactly as he knew it would. No institution was going to accept an ancient book as scientific foundation.
Aravind — still at the circus. Still unaware. Subha would approach him soon. Not his business.
Dong Lee — already in Chennai. Already operating. The clock running in the background.
His own position — comfortable. Useful. Exactly where he needed to be.
'Everything moving correctly', he thought.
He put the phone down.
Tomorrow — a bike. Royal Enfield Classic 350. He had already decided. He had missed riding since the Harley.
He closed his eyes.
The story would move at its own pace.
He had time.
