Chapter 2 - Chapter 2 – Meeting God and Ryujin Jakka

I ask again, hoping for something… anything.

The person looking at me smiles and nods.

I put the teacup down and cover my face with my hand, bending forward in the chair.

I did it. I finally did it.

For the last seven years, since the last close person to me died, I haven't been able to sleep properly. Every dream is filled with death, playing again and again like a broken cassette stuck on repeat.

My hands have gone wet from my tears.

I don't remember the last time I cried. Hell, I didn't even cry when my friends died. It was like my emotions had already died down somewhere along the way.

But now… it feels like a heavy weight has finally been lifted from my shoulders.

"Rina… I did it. I fulfilled my promise," I whisper quietly.

I killed him.

I look up again at the person sitting across from me. I look into his calm eyes and say,

"Thank you. You don't know how much that means to me."

Maybe he's lying.

Maybe this is just some illusion I'm seeing near my death.

It doesn't matter.

My thoughts are interrupted when he says,

"It is not your illusion. You really did kill him. Though he was not some Dark Lord… more like a lesser god."

That revelation shocks me.

"A god?" I ask in confusion.

"I killed a god?!"

Then another thought hits me.

"Wait… you can read my thoughts?"

The person replies calmly,

"Lesser god… and yes, I can read your thoughts."

Hearing this, I ask,

"So you are also a god then?"

He nods, confirming it.

"Then is this some kind of heaven? Or am I being judged or something?" I ask curiously.

"Well," he replies, "it is more like a sanctuary where gods reside. What you see here is my sanctuary."

He gestures around us.

"It exists outside space and time, meaning it exists beyond the boundaries of worlds."

I take a moment to process that.

"And you," he continues, "a person who killed a god — even a lesser one — are not here to be judged. I am simply rewarding you for your achievement."

Before I can say anything else, the garden suddenly shifts.

In the next moment, we are standing in a white room.

In the center of the room is a large wheel-like machine.

I look at the god.

He explains,

"There will be three spins."

"The first spin will determine which world you will go to."

"The second will determine your ability."

"The third will grant you a weapon."

He pauses for a moment, then chuckles.

"Don't worry. Since this is a reward, things are good here. I removed the things I usually use to mess with reincarnators."

"What?" I ask.

"Nothing," he replies. "Just spin."

I want to ask so many questions, but I guess that's not happening.

I sigh and spin the wheel for the first time.

The name Jujutsu Kaisen appears.

At the same time, information suddenly begins to appear in my head.

Information about the world.

Its powers.

The monsters — or curses.

Everything fundamental related to the world pours into my mind.

After a while it stops.

I understand where I am going.

It is certainly an interesting world.

There is a clear distinction between normal people and curses, unlike my world.

As for power, there is cursed energy and cursed techniques. Sorcerers exist to eradicate curses.

Really interesting…

Now I look at the wheel again and spin it a second time.

This time the words appear:

Mirror Dimension – Nerf Version

Information about it starts to appear in my head.

So it's like a shadow reality where I can trap people. But it's not the true mirror dimension I saw in the information.

This one depends entirely on my cursed energy, similar to a domain.

Still, it can be used like a prison.

And it's good for training, since whatever happens inside the mirror dimension doesn't affect the real world.

I'll need to experiment with it later.

Now for the last spin.

Let's see.

The wheel spins for a while before finally stopping.

The words appear.

Ryujin Jakka.

As the information about it fills my mind, I freeze.

"What the hell is this sword?" I ask in shock.

"This thing could literally destroy the world."

"Forget Bankai. Even the Shikai is enough to incinerate everything."

"How is it even usable in that world? It doesn't say anything about a nerf."

The god replies calmly,

"Well, technically you can't use its abilities normally in that world."

"But you saw the second thing you received in your second spin, right? That helps with the problem."

"So outside of it, the sword will mostly function as a flame sword whose output depends on your cursed energy."

"Though even with these things, you will still need to train to make them truly useful."

"As for cursed energy, you will have plenty. Not the strongest, since you already received something powerful, but still far above average."

He pauses for a moment.

"And I also added a small gift for you. Don't thank me."

Then he snaps his fingers.

A door appears in front of me.

I sigh.

"At least tell me who I will be reborn as, and where exactly," I say.

He smiles.

"You will know when you get there."

I sigh again.

Then I walk toward the door and step through it.
