When morning came, a monument engraved with those words appeared in the same place as the funeral pyre they had lit a day ago.
Troy looked at this monument with a solemn expression, as if he was deep in thought.
When he regained consciousness, Leone told him that Darkmane City had been burned to the ground as per his orders.
It went without saying that rage flooded his body. Such a reaction was natural on his part.
However, his fury didn't last long. After all, they were at war. On top of that, Leone also kindly reminded him that the Darkmane Tribe had burned the forest of the Aslan Tribe and that there were hundreds of squirrels that were out for his blood.
Seriously though, Leone had to calm down the little ones. Even if Troy was now a Lionkin, the Weresquirrels would not hesitate to bite him to death at the cost of their lives.
