Chapter 11: The Primordial Call and the Evolution of Twins

The 20,000 souls had been gathered. The "Voice of the World" was already ringing in their ears, its mechanical tone announcing the restructuring of their bodies and souls.

"Rimuru," Silver wheezed, his silver skin glowing with an unstable, iridescent light. "We can't... let the survivors go. The mages... the King. They need to be dealt with before we pass out."

"I know," Rimuru replied, his golden eyes dimming as the evolution took hold. "But I don't have the energy for another [Megiddo]... I'm going to summon a guardian."

"Then I'll summon one too," Silver said, his mind reaching into the deepest, darkest corners of the spiritual realm through [Wisdom King Solomon]. "If we're becoming Demon Lords, we need subordinates who can handle the weight of that title."

Using the thousands of corpses as a biological medium, the brothers reached into the Void.

"Come forth!" Rimuru commanded, pouring his remaining magicules into a ritual circle of black lightning. "[Demon Summoning]!"

"And you," Silver intoned, his silver hair floating as if in zero gravity, his hand tracing a circle of mercury-colored mana. "The one who balances the scales of the primordial void. Come forth! [Demon Summoning]!"

The world seemed to hold its breath. From the black ritual circle, a figure emerged—tall, elegant, with hair like the deepest night and eyes containing golden stars. Noir, the Primordial Black.

But from Silver's silver circle, a second entity manifested. He was equally tall, with hair the color of stormy smoke—a shimmering, metallic grey—and eyes that looked like twin silver moons. Glaucus, the Primordial Grey.

"A pleasure to meet you, my masters," the Primordial Black, Diablo, purred, bowing with a grace that masked his terrifying power.

"I have awaited this resonance, Silver-sama," the Primordial Grey, whom Silver would soon know as Vane, whispered, kneeling in the dirt.

"Noir... you shall be Diablo," Rimuru muttered before his eyes finally closed.

"And you... Grey one... you shall be Vane," Silver whispered. "I grant you the power of my [Creation] and [Snatch]. Protect our home while we sleep."

As the two twins collapsed into the transformative slumber of the Harvest Festival, the two Primordials stood up. Their auras expanded, shattering the remaining glass in the camp.

"It seems we have a mess to clean up, Diablo," Vane said, his grey eyes flashing with a cold, analytical light. His power had been bolstered by Silver's [Magicule Generator], giving him an almost infinite well of energy.

"Indeed, Vane," Diablo smiled, a terrifying expression of pure joy. "Let us show these humans the true meaning of fear before our masters wake. It would be a shame to leave any 'trash' for them to see upon their ascension."

The Slumber of the Twins

Back in the city of Tempest, the evolution was spreading like a wave. The Kijin, the Goblins, and the Wolves—everyone connected to the brothers through the Soul Corridor—was being granted a "Gift."

Inside the spiritual space of the brothers, the change was even more profound.

[Notice. Unique Skill [Wisdom King Solomon] is evolving... Successful. Ultimate Skill [Solomon, Lord of Information] has been acquired.]

[Notice. Unique Skill [Creation] has evolved into Ultimate Skill [Aura, Lord of Manifestation].]

[Notice. Unique Skill [Snatch] and [Mirror Image] have been integrated into Ultimate Skill [Ahriman, Lord of Plunder].]

Silver's consciousness floated in a sea of silver data. He could feel Rimuru's soul right next to his, glowing with a new, golden intensity. They weren't just slimes anymore. They were the pillars of a new world order.

The Awakening

Three days later, the brothers opened their eyes.

They were back in the administrative building of Tempest. The air felt lighter, yet every movement they made caused the atmosphere to vibrate with power. Shion, Rigur, and the others were standing by the beds—alive. The resurrection had been a success.

Silver sat up, his silver hair now possessing a permanent, ethereal glow. He looked at his hands; they felt solid, yet he knew he could turn into liquid or pure energy at a whim.

"We did it," Rimuru said, his voice now carrying a natural, commanding resonance.

"We did," Silver replied. He looked toward the door, sensing two massive presences waiting outside. "And it looks like our new guests are waiting."

The doors opened, and Diablo and Vane entered, both kneeling in perfect unison.

"Congratulations on your ascension, Lord Rimuru, Lord Silver," they said together.

Silver looked at Vane. He could feel the connection—the [Family Link] had expanded to include their new subordinates. Vane's skills were now reflections of Silver's own: he possessed a high-tier version of [Creation] and a refined [Snatch].

"Report," Silver commanded.

"The Falmuth leadership has been captured, Silver-sama," Vane said, his voice smooth. "The King is currently... enjoying our hospitality. The 60,000 are gone. The forest is yours."

Silver looked at Rimuru. The grief was still there, but it was tempered by the weight of their new crowns.

"Tempest isn't just a village anymore, is it?" Rimuru asked.

"No," Silver said, standing tall as the Silver hair caught the light. "It's an empire. And the world is about to find out exactly what happens when you wake the twins."
