Location: Qin Estate – Inner Cultivation Grounds
Morning sunlight filtered through the tall spirit trees surrounding the Qin estate.
After the recent battle, the entire clan had entered a period of intense training.
Guards strengthened the defensive formations while disciples practiced tirelessly in the courtyards.
But inside the inner cultivation grounds, a much more important training session was taking place.
Qin Huaian stood calmly in the center of the courtyard.
Before him sat Fenglan and Meiyue, both concentrating deeply as faint currents of Void energy moved around them.
Nearby, Qin Xiaoxiao leaned against a stone pillar with folded arms, quietly observing.
The First True Void Technique
Huaian raised his hand slowly.
A small black sphere formed above his palm.
At first it looked harmless.
But the moment it appeared, the spiritual energy in the courtyard vanished.
Even the wind stopped.
Fenglan opened his eyes slightly in shock.
"Everything… disappeared."
Huaian nodded.
"This is the nature of Void power."
He closed his fingers slightly.
The black sphere expanded for a moment and then disappeared again.
"Today I will teach you your first true Void combat technique."
The twins leaned forward with excitement.
Huaian spoke calmly.
Technique Name: Void Collapse.
He continued explaining.
"Most attacks overwhelm the enemy with energy."
"Void Collapse does the opposite."
"It removes the energy sustaining your opponent's technique."
Meiyue tilted her head slightly.
"So instead of destroying attacks… we erase them?"
Huaian nodded approvingly.
"Exactly."
Attempting the Technique
Fenglan was the first to try.
He raised his hand and attempted to gather Void energy.
A small dark ripple formed in front of his palm.
But after a few seconds it destabilized and vanished.
Fenglan frowned.
"It's harder than it looks."
Huaian replied calmly.
"Void techniques require control over absence itself."
Meiyue tried next.
Silver and black energy merged briefly in her hand.
For a moment, a tiny Void sphere appeared.
But it immediately collapsed.
Xiaoxiao laughed softly from the side.
"You two look like children playing with fireworks."
Fenglan rolled his eyes.
"If you're so confident, why don't you try?"
Xiaoxiao smiled slightly.
"Fine."
She stepped forward and raised her hand.
A sharp aura gathered around her.
To everyone's surprise, a stable Void ripple formed instantly.
Huaian's eyes showed faint interest.
"Your control improved."
Xiaoxiao shrugged casually.
"I had to learn a few things while you were gone."
Xiaoxiao's Discovery
Her expression soon became serious.
She turned toward Huaian.
"Actually… there's something important I need to tell you."
Huaian looked at her calmly.
"Speak."
Xiaoxiao continued.
"During the years you disappeared, I traveled through the eastern continent searching for clues."
She paused briefly.
"I discovered traces of an ancient ruin connected to the First Void Emperor."
Fenglan and Meiyue immediately became curious.
"Xuanyuan Wudi?" Meiyue asked.
Xiaoxiao nodded.
"Yes."
Her voice lowered slightly.
"And I believe that ruin contains something related to the Twelfth Realm of Void Cultivation."
For the first time, Huaian's expression changed slightly.
The Twelfth Realm was the final stage of the Void path.
A realm no one had ever fully understood.
Meanwhile – The Approaching Storm
Far away from the Qin estate…
A lone figure walked along a mountain ridge.
The air around him trembled with every step.
Birds fell silent.
Wild beasts hid deep in the forests.
The man was Shaw Huangdi.
His journey toward the Qin territory had already begun.
He stopped on a cliff and looked toward the distant horizon.
Through his powerful spiritual sense, he could faintly feel the presence of a powerful cultivator.
A slow grin spread across his face.
"So that's where you are…"
He whispered the name quietly.
"Qin Huaian."
Lightning flashed across the sky behind him.
The Butcher continued walking.
And with every step…
The distance between him and the Qin estate became smaller.
