Chapter 8 - Chapter 8: Ninja Business

"What happened?" Sasuke and Sarada asked.

Hearing voices, Boruto finally snapped back to reality. He saw Sasuke and Sarada staring in surprise at the crater left by his Rasengan, and a proud grin spread across his face. "This is the advanced Rasengan technique I just developed. How's that? Impressive, right?"

"It certainly is," Sasuke replied. Then, his gaze shifted to Boruto's eyes. "Boruto, have you activated your Byakugan?"

"Yes, I have. I, Boruto Uzumaki, the genius, not only developed a new jutsu, but also awakened my kekkei genkai. Pretty amazing, right?" Boruto said with pride.

While Sasuke and Sarada were focused on Boruto, Momoshiki used Boruto's Shadow Clone to hide, so by the time Boruto realized it, Momoshiki had already vanished.

Seeing Boruto's confused expression, Sasuke asked with concern, "Boruto, what's wrong? Did something happen?"

Boruto quickly composed himself when asked, noticing Sasuke's worry, and replied nonchalantly, "Nothing, nothing. By the way, Uncle Sasuke, have you finished your ocular pressure technique?"

"Almost. For someone like me who has mastered the Sharingan, this move is relatively simple. Since you just awakened it, you'll need more practice to master it," Sasuke said, patting Boruto's shoulder with his remaining hand.

"Then, Dad, can I learn it too?" Sarada asked excitedly upon hearing Sasuke's words.

"Of course. Once your Sharingan is strong enough, I'll teach you," Sasuke said, affectionately ruffling Sarada's hair.

"Great! I'll work hard. I won't let Boruto leave me behind!" Sarada said, determination shining in her eyes.

"Then I'll teach Sarada a jutsu first. Boruto, you might need to get familiar with the technique you just developed, so I won't interrupt you for now." Sasuke said, leading Sarada in another direction to begin her training.

Boruto watched Sasuke and Sarada slowly disappear from view, letting out a sigh of relief. Then he turned to Momoshiki, complaining.

"Momoshiki, your improved Rasengan technique was way too loud. You drew everyone's attention."

"So what? Isn't having great power a good thing? Besides, this jutsu is called Rasengan it has a name," Momoshiki replied absentmindedly.

"Then, since it caused such a commotion, you have to teach me how to use it properly," Boruto said firmly.

"You just want to take advantage of me. Did you forget I said I would teach you?" Momoshiki countered.

"Oh, come on… Freebies? That's called the cost of handling the aftermath. You can't just make up facts to accuse an innocent person," Boruto said, feeling a bit guilty.

"You even quoted Confucius and claim you don't want a free ride? Forget it, I don't want to argue anymore. Do you want to learn it or not?" Momoshiki clearly didn't want to keep quarreling and tried to end the discussion.

"Yes, yes! I want to learn!" Boruto didn't even bother asking who Confucius was; he was already eager to learn the new jutsu.

"Good. When I activate the Byakugan, what did you notice with your Byakugan?" Momoshiki asked.

"I didn't even need to look while concentrating the Rasengan, and most of the chakra flowed naturally afterward," Boruto said proudly.

"Then I'll tell you the key. This technique requires strong chakra control to compress the Rasengan's chakra completely. That part is difficult, but your Rasengan is already close to standard. After that, you just need to use Gentle Fist techniques to launch it."

"Ah? Gentle Fist? But I haven't really learned Gentle Fist yet," Boruto said, disappointed.

"Have you forgotten who your mother is? If you don't want to use your brain, you can give it to those in need," Momoshiki countered.

"Yes, yes… Wait, no! Momoshiki, why did you insult me!" Boruto suddenly realized what Momoshiki meant and angrily reacted.

"You're cut from the same mold as your father. Not just looks, even your personality is almost identical," Momoshiki said, shaking his head.

"I'm nothing like that irresponsible old man! I care about Mom and Himawari!" Boruto snapped back, expressing his anger at Momoshiki's words.

As a result, the passersby on the street saw Boruto walking home while arguing in his mind, changing expressions constantly. They thought the son of the Seventh Hokage might be mentally unstable and later decided to warn their children to stay away from him. Meanwhile, Boruto was completely absorbed in his thoughts, oblivious to everything around him.
