Leo got pulled into Aethelgard with no real warning except for the prompt in his vision and the countdown he swore was the end of his life.
During the briefing moment in the portal he heard the voice again but it was so clear he knew it was a girl talking to him.
"Your True Despair is the Awakening of Your Power"

Leo knew this was going to be something he cant refuse as he was already pulled into the portal and there was no going back... he had no idea what was in store for him on the other side and he could only hope it was life and not death.
After just moments after the voice stopped he was plunged into the sky about 50 miles up falling down on what looked like a medieval kingdom but off in the distance he saw knights, mages, archers, dragons and much more of what seemed to be a fantasy realm.
"Now I know this cant be real..." as he folded his arms and thought about the anime he watched the night before. It was just like this world and then it hit him...
"OH shit oh shot oh shit, im fucking falling!, what do I do!" He screamed flailing his arms around and with nothing to grab onto. He called upon the system for help

"Be reborn? You mean I gotta die first? I just got here!!", Leo knew in this moment there was nothing he could do and he plummeted closer and closer he cried outloud cursing the system that brought him here.
(Splat) he hit the ground and died upon impact, but in this moment his new life was being created for him.

Leo woke up on the ground and immediately shifted his arms and hands around his body to check if he was dead. He was painting and coughing with anxiety.
"Ahhh did I just die? How am I alive, what the duck just hapoened!"
He couldn't believe it, he was somehow alive and it was like nothing had happened.
Some of the adventurers who witnessed his hitting the ground were a little disburted at the site they had just witnessed but didn't think much of it. This was more frightening to Leo then it was to them and they gave a small chuckle at how concerned he was over it.
But eventually everyone went back to what they were doing and he calmed down, he got up and brushed him self off then looked around at where he was.
There cottages like you would see in old kingdoms and market stands all around. He could hear people calling out names of food and fur for people to buy and his gaze fell upon the giant castle he saw from the sky. It was huge and he wanted to go see it but there was another inner wall with guards that he couldn't pass through.
He decided to walk around a bit and figure out where he was for the time being. After going down a few streets and looking at all the new things his eyes could take in he stopped by a local tavern and remembered that taverns in places like this is where you gather the best information so he went in.
As he swung open the door everyone in there turned and stared at him with a sneer gaze that made him uncomfortable. He walked up to the bar keeper and asked where he was.
"Your instincts Aethegard adventurer! Don't you know this is the place every grand knight, mage and party start before going into the unknown?" The bar keeper looked at Leo's clothes with suspicion.
"Your aren't from here are you? What your name?"
Leo hesitated for a second thinking maybe he should form an alias but then decided to just go with his gut and say his true intentions.
"My names Leo and no im not from here but I want to become an adventurer, could you point me in the right direction to do so?"
The bar keeper let out a laugh and told him to goto the adventurers guild and they would assess he skills and give him a calling card. This will allow him to in and out of the kingdom without a merchant fee and he can sell his loot back to the local guild for money. It is where all the adventurers start before dawning on epic quests.
With this new info Leo gave off a smirk and headed out to the local guild to get his rank and calling card, in his mind he knew he was gonna be something powerful! Why all the greatest of heros in anime are the ones who get transported in from different places.
It was the basic foundation for these type of stories. But as little did Leo know this would not go in his favor as he was not summoned to this world. The system that brought him here would always go in opposite of that type of reasoning and it wanted to watch him fail.
As he walked to the guild he noticed more and more adventurers were staring at him because he stuck out like a sore thumb eith his clothes of a dofferent workd. This made him kinda embarrassed and upon his first quest he would devote himself to getting a new set of armor so the prying eyes would disappear.
It reminded him to much of the other world with his class mates always staring at him and he wanted it to be dofferent in this world...
Not before long he was standing at the front door of the guild and a new prompt appealed.
