(Third Person POV)
Toji was sitting down next to her window, tapping her finger on the frame impatiently as she was scowling. She was clearly agitated about something, causing her body to be tense and for her to snap at anyone who tried to speak to her.
"How long has it been since I...." Toji thought to herself, "And I was told to be respectful and not do anything until I was married. But...."
Her tapping got faster and harder, the sound of it spreading throughout her entire room.
The sliding doors opened and a maid walked in, holding a small box wrapped in gift paper. She walked slowly towards the center of the room and knelt down, placing the box on the floor.
"What do you want?" Toji asked
"A gift arrived for you." The woman looked down, trying not to look at Toji
"A gift?" Toji's tapping stopped, "From who?"
"Ryusei Gojo." The woman said
Toji looked at the maid, "That fucking brat?" She said, "Why would he send me a gift???"
"I apologize, My Lady." The maid said, "But I would not know. Master Naobito said to give to you, though."
"Tch, fine." Toji said, "Begone."
The maid bowed and scurried away, closing the door behind her. Toji walked over to the center of the room and knelt down, unwrapping the box and opening.
"What is....?" She said as she pulled out a nice diamond necklace, "Jewelry?"
There were other types of jewelry, ranging from bracelets to rings on the box, but the diamond necklace is what got Toji's attention. She then saw a note at the bottom of the box and she pulled it out to start reading it.
"Toji-san, I do not know what you would like better, so I sent you all types of jewelry. Consider this is a thank you gift for accepting the marriage. I hope I don't offend you, thinking that I could buy you out with such materialistic items. But I figured you'd look even more beautiful with these items on. You possess a beauty like no other, and I cannot stop thinking about you.
- Ryusei"
Toji scowled, "That little shit..." she said, crumpling the paper and tossing it away, "Who does he think he is....?"
She looked at the box, seeing that all of the jewelry had beautiful gems on them. She picked up a ring that had a nice obsidian stone on it, with a silver band. She inspected it for a couple of seconds, deciding that it was nice enough to fit on her finger.
She slid the ring on her finger, "Hm, a perfect fit." She said, "It's not bad....."
She then looked at the diamond necklace, debating if it was something she would wear. She then placed it back on the box and closed it, sitting down more comfortably and looking at the ring on her finger.
"That idiot got it for me....?" She said, her cheeks slowly turning red, "How thoughtful....hm-....."
She noticed that she was blushing and she immediately scowled, completely flustered at the fact.
"I...." She said, her body feeling a bit hot, "Wait....dammit....!!!"
"That damned brat...!!!"

[Days Later]
After the wedding between Ryusei Gojo and Toji Zenin had happened, both Clans quietly retreated back to their estates.
The ceremony was rather quiet and tame, something that both Clans were a bit surprised by. It was held in a park in Kyoto, which was a neutral location that was chosen by both clans. This meant enough space to hold both Clans and also be inviting for a potential attack, which did not happen.
Toji remained calm and behaved, much to everyone's surprise. She was quiet the entire time, remaining composed throughout the entire ceremony. Ryusei also remained calm, which was expected of him.
While most of the Clan members retreated to their respective estates, Tatsuo Gojo and Naobito Zenin remained at the ceremony location, overseeing the aftermath.
They were sitting on a mat while pouring each other sake, occasionally glancing over to Ryusei and Toji, who were sitting together quietly.
"During the whole negotiation...." Naobito hiccupped, "You didn't bother to show up! You sent one of yer damn uncles!"
Tatsuo was taking a sip of his sake, "Well, yea." He said, "I was overseeing Satoru's training; there's nothing else to it."
"Bah, you care more about that Six-Eyes brat?" Naobito chuckled, "More than your firstborn?"
"It's not like that." Tatsuo said, setting the cup down, "Satoru is a prodigy and I wanted to see his growth firsthand. Besides, try raising the Six-Eyes user yourself, Naobito. That little brat is a handful, much more than Ryusei!"
"Your boy is something else, though." Naobito said, "To be ballsy enough to choose my niece? I mean, come on!"
"Your niece may be an unruly woman, but my boy knows how to tame even the wildest of them." Tatsuo smirked, "Just you watch, she'll fall for him!"
"Kehehehe!" Naobito laughed, "Toji doesn't like that he's too young!"
"Ah, that sentiment will change soon!" Tatsuo laughed, "Hahahaha! He'll get her nice and soft, just watch! My boy is a lady-killer, nobody can resist him! I'm so proud of him, too! Getting someone as beautiful as your niece as his wife!"
As the two Clan-Heads were laughing and drinking, Toji couldn't help but scowl at this. She was wearing a traditional wedding kimono, which was a bit lighter in colors than what she was usually used to. Her hair was combed neatly, and she had a bit of makeup on, which was not something she liked to wear.
"Those stupid men...." Toji muttered, "Bunch of imbeciles."
Ryusei looked at her, "Don't mind them." He said, "This was for the sake of an alliance, let the two of Clan Heads enjoy each other's companies."
"Hmph...." Toji said, "If you say so."
Ryusei glanced at her hand, "You chose the ring." He said, reaching for it, "It looks good on you."
Toji pulled away, "Shut up..." She muttered, "I liked the color, that is all."
As this happened, Ryusei's mother walked up to them.
"Toji-san." Satomi said as she stood in front of the two, "I would like to congratulate you."
Toji looked at her, "Satomi-san...." She said, "T-Thank you...."
Satomi smiled warmly, "I leave my son in your care." She said, "As composed and calm as he is, he is still Tatsuo's boy. And you have already seen what Satoru is like, so please be patient with my Ryusei."
Toji looked away, "R-Right...."
"I wish nothing but the best for the two of you." Satomi said, "I hope you end up happy."
Ryusei gave his mother a nod, "Thank you, mother." He said, "I'll do my best."
Satomi bowed slightly and walked away, making her way towards Satoru who was drinking cola and eating.
Toji looked at Ryusei, who had a slight smile on his face, "You..." She said, "Are you really sure you want this?"
Ryusei looked at her, "Hm?"
"To be with someone like me?" Toji asked
Ryusei nodded, "Yes." He said, "I don't mind. "
"I chose you, after all."
