A ship was wrecked in the middle of the ocean in a fierce storm. One of the survivors of the ship was washed ashore on a deserted island. After regaining consciousness, the first thing he did was to thank God for saving his life. Every day he would sit on the shore of the island, hoping that a ship would come that way. But every day he would return disappointed. In the meantime, he built a small house for himself on the seashore. He survived by catching fish from the sea and hunting fruits from the forest.
Meanwhile, one day he went into the forest in search of food. When he returned from the forest, he saw that his cooking stove had caught fire and the entire house was reduced to ashes and its black smoke filled the sky. The man shouted, 'Oh God, you left this in my fate too!' The next morning he was woken up by the sound of a ship. The ship was coming towards that island to rescue him. He was surprised and said, 'How did you know that I was trapped here!' The captain of the ship said, 'By the smoke signal you lit.'
