One dark and stormy night, a young boy named Arif was walking home through a quiet road near the old forest. The wind was blowing hard, and the trees were making strange whispering sounds. Arif felt something was not right.
As he walked, he noticed a small, glowing object under a big tree. Curious, he went closer and saw an old book with a black cover. The book had strange symbols on it that he had never seen before. When Arif touched the book, it suddenly opened by itself.
The pages started turning quickly, and a cold wind surrounded him. Suddenly, a deep voice whispered, "You have opened the Magic Book…"
Arif's heart started beating fast. The words on the page began to glow red. They said, "Every spell has a price."
Before he could close the book, a dark shadow slowly came out from the pages. The shadow grew bigger and formed the shape of a tall, thin creature with long fingers and glowing eyes.
"Thank you for freeing me," the creature said with a creepy smile.
Arif tried to run, but his legs felt heavy. The creature moved closer and whispered, "Now the magic belongs to you… but so does the curse."
The lights around him went out, and the forest became completely silent.
The next morning, the villagers found the book lying under the tree again… waiting for the next curious person to open it.
