Chapter 1 - The Midnight Notification

When the city finally sinks into silence, Aryan's world becomes painfully awake. The clock on his wall ticked rhythmically—2:15 AM. The flickering blue light from his old laptop screen washed over his tired face, highlighting the dark circles under his eyes. As a struggling freelancer, late nights were his only reality, but tonight felt different. The air in his small room felt heavy, almost electric.

Suddenly, his phone screen pierced the darkness. It wasn't a standard notification. A strange, golden icon pulsed on the lock screen—a logo he didn't recognize: a broken chain glowing with a faint, digital aura.

With a frown, Aryan swiped it open. A single sentence sat in the middle of a pitch-black interface:

"Do you want to rewrite your destiny? Accept the Invisible Contract."

Below the text, two buttons hovered in the void: [ACCEPT] and [DECLINE].

Aryan let out a dry, bitter laugh. "Probably some high-budget ad for a new RPG," he muttered to himself. He checked his wallet—only a few notes left, barely enough to cover next week's rent. The idea of "rewriting destiny" was a dream he had long since buried. Driven by a mix of exhaustion and desperate curiosity, he tapped [ACCEPT].

Instantly, a mechanical yet hauntingly sweet female voice echoed from the phone's speakers:

"Contract Initialized. User Identity: Aryan. Task 01 Assigned."

Aryan jumped, nearly dropping the phone onto his cluttered desk. Before he could process the voice, his laptop screen flickered violently. A pop-up window forced itself open, showing a grainy, high-angle video feed. His heart skipped a beat when he realized what he was looking at—it was the CCTV feed of the street right outside his apartment building.

In the footage, a sleek, obsidian-black sedan pulled up silently to the curb.

A tall man in a long charcoal coat stepped out. He didn't look around; instead, he stared directly into the camera lens with a chilling, knowing smile—as if he were looking straight at Aryan through the screen.

Aryan's phone vibrated again. A new message appeared:

"TASK 01: Get into the black sedan. You have 300 seconds. Failure to comply will result in the loss of your most precious possession."

A cold sweat broke out on Aryan's forehead. Was this a sick prank? A kidnapping plot? But as the red countdown timer began to bleed across his screen—299... 298... 297...—an instinct deeper than fear took over.

He grabbed his jacket, shoved his phone into his pocket, and sprinted toward the door. He didn't know it yet, but as he flew down the stairs, he wasn't just leaving his apartment—he was stepping out of his old life forever.

End of Chapter 1 (Cliffhanger):

The moment he reached the street, the car door swung open on its own. The interior was a void of darkness. As soon as Aryan stepped inside, the heavy door clicked shut with a terrifying finality. From the darkness of the backseat, that same mechanical voice whispered:

"Welcome to the Invisible Contract, Aryan. There is no turning back now."
