Chapter 35 - The Hunters’ Army

The next morning, Ariana woke up with a heavy feeling in her chest.

The dream about the Moon Goddess kept replaying in her mind.

Blood Moon.

Prophecy.

War.

She shook her head.

"This is getting crazier every day," she muttered.

As she stepped outside the mansion, she noticed something strange.

The pack warriors were moving around quickly.

Some were carrying weapons.

Others were patrolling the forest.

Ariana frowned.

"What's going on?"

Kayden appeared beside her with his usual relaxed smile.

"Morning, Moon Princess."

Ariana rolled her eyes.

"Stop calling me that."

Kayden chuckled.

"Fine. But you might want to look at this."

He pointed toward the edge of the forest.

Several wolves were standing there, looking tense.

Jayden was among them.

Ariana walked closer.

"What happened?"

Jayden's voice was serious.

"We found something in the forest."

One of the warriors stepped forward and placed a metal object on the ground.

It was a silver bullet.

But it looked different.

Stronger.

Deadlier.

"These aren't normal hunters," Jayden said.

"They're preparing for war."

Ariana felt a chill run down her spine.

Suddenly—

A loud explosion echoed from the forest.

The ground trembled slightly.

One of the wolves ran toward them in panic.

"Alpha!"

Jayden turned quickly.

"What is it?"

The warrior spoke between breaths.

"The hunters… they've brought an entire army."

Gasps spread through the pack.

Kayden's playful smile disappeared.

"Well… that escalated quickly."

Jayden's eyes darkened.

"How many?"

"At least fifty," the warrior answered.

"And they're carrying heavy silver weapons."

Ariana felt her heart drop.

"They're coming for me, aren't they?"

Jayden didn't deny it.

"Yes."

He stepped forward and looked toward the forest.

"Everyone prepare for battle."

The pack wolves howled loudly.

Because this time…

It wasn't just a small attack.

It was a full-scale hunter invasion.

And the war for the Moon Heir had officially begun.
