Tsukishima Saito is the greatest doctor of Japan, he was just 8 years old when he succesfully created many medicines, cured various diseases and saved many lives. He was just 10 when he successfully did the surgeries, earning the nickname of child surgeon. His medicines, he treatments, his cures, made him a great prodigy in eyes of people who revered him as great prodigy in medicines, giving him immense fame, his clan Tsukishima clan, who is famous for their medical prowess is very proud of Saito.
But Saito has a secret, he has the memory of past life, in past life he was the medical prodigy who stand in pinnacle of medical world, he was a great doctor and a celebrity who accomplished many things including successfully finding the cure for previously incurable diseases, he is also a prodigy in surgery, nearly nobody died when he is in-charge of surgery. Making him most revered figure in modern Japan.
Sadly, his life came to an end, when his car is collided with other car, whose driver was drunk, the accident cause the famous doctor to lose his life. But next moment he was stunned to discovered himself to be reborn in Japan of late Meiji era, he wasn't sure whether he time travelled, or this parallel earth, but he assumed himself to be a transmigrator, just in case if this a different earth.
The doctor, now Tsukishima Saito found it funny that the things that only happen in anime and manga, happened to him in real life, nevertheless, he accepted his fate and decided to start anew in his current life.
Saito after reaching the age of 6 was diagnosed with blood cancer and him not being able to live past 20, his clan, escpecially his (current) parents were shocked and mourned at a child barely 6 is suffering from a dangerous disease.
Saito, however, wasn't sad, he took his cancer as a challenge, in past life because of his accident he was unable to complete his invention, the cure for cancer, he will do that in this life.
Back in present, Saito now a full-fledged doctor despite him being 15 years old, decided to synthesis the cure, in past life he did research with chemical compounds and microorganisms to find a cure for cancer, but in this life he skipped both modern compounds and microbes, thanks to rare herb he found and harvested.
It was blue spider lily, it is famous as a mythical flowers that in past, during heian era is used to make various magical elixirs, including ones that can grant immortality.
Of course, Saito is not superstitious, to him, the flower is unusual, rare but natural herb with medicinal effects, in fact many who found and harvested it, produced highly effective cure for various diseases, including the illness that required expensive treatments.
Saito using the herbs brewed four serums, compound alpha (red coloured), compound beta (blue coloured), compound gamma (green coloured) and compound delta (violet coloured).
He starts with compound alpha to weaken the cancerous cells, then compound beta to exterminate the cancerous cells, then compund gamma to repair the damage caused to body by cancer, and finally the compound delta to restore the body's health and restore natural lifespan.
Next week, the symptoms of cancer vanished as if it was never there, his body is now healthy and he can finally live past 20.
Saito looking at his blood sample under microscope felt sense of accomplishment, he looked at the leftover blue spider lilies and smirked.
Saito recalls about his past life where there were flowers similar to blue spider lilies, the red spider lilies which are also used in medicines but they are not miraculous like blue spider lilies.
Saito decided to tell his family about his feat and successful self-treatment.
2 Hours later
Soon, the whole family learns that Saito managed to successfully cure his blood cancer, a huge family banquet took place under the order of family head, Saito's grandfather, who praised his grandson for his yet another great feat.
The uncles and aunts, all praised Saito, while Saito's cousins excitedly asked saito how he managed to cure himself and how he brewed the medicines.
The whole clan is in celebratory mood, for Saito's victory on cancer, Saito too boasted about him finding the blue spider lilies and processed them corrected to produce four vials of medicines and the fact about himself being a medical genius.
Saito, however, has no idea that his life will change soon.
