The Brave and Honest Boy
Once upon a time there was a beautiful village named Greenfield. The village was full of green trees, rivers, and open fields. The people of the village were very simple and friendly. They loved each other and always helped their neighbors in difficult times.
In this village lived a boy named Rahim. Rahim was about sixteen years old. He lived with his mother and his little sister. Rahim's father had died many years ago. Because of this, his family became very poor. His mother worked in other people's houses and Rahim also worked to help his family.
Even though Rahim was poor, he was very honest, brave, and hardworking. He always respected elders and helped people in need. Everyone in the village liked him very much because of his good behavior.
Rahim was also a very good student. Every morning he woke up early and helped his mother with household work. After finishing his work, he went to school. He always listened carefully to his teachers and completed all his homework on time.
After school, Rahim worked in the fields or helped villagers carry goods to the market. Sometimes he worked in a small shop to earn a little money. Life was not easy for him, but Rahim never complained.

In the afternoon some children were playing near the river. Suddenly one small boy slipped and fell into the river. The boy started shouting for help because he could not swim.
The villagers were very frightened. Some people ran toward the river, but no one had the courage to jump into the strong water.
At that moment Rahim was passing by the road. When he heard the cry for help, he quickly ran to the river. Without thinking about his own safety, Rahim jumped into the river.
The water was very deep and the current was very fast. But Rahim was a good swimmer. He swam with great effort and finally reached the boy. The boy was almost drowning.
Rahim held the boy tightly and slowly swam back toward the shore. After some time he successfully brought the boy to the bank of the river.
Everyone became very happy and relieved. The villagers praised Rahim for his bravery. The boy's parents came running and hugged their child. They thanThe Brave and Honest Boy
