The air felt heavy as i walked down the hallway with sweat dripping down my forehead. As i pass many colleagues my eyes blurry with the lack of sleep and dizziness because of last nights project. i reached my final destination, the bosses room. I adjusted my red tie and smoothed my blue suit. then combed my jet-black hair and took a deep breath and entered. there i met the him, the lodger whos only job was to rant.
"Ryo i've been waiting for five minutes"
"sorry i was-"
"Our company is collapsing because of you." thump-thump
my heart pounded throught my throat
"yes..."
"Half a million lost, Explain" He asked as he got up from his chair adjust his belt to his elephant of a belly and walked to the board showing the sales slapping his hand on the line that dropped tremendenously
"You were a respected financial advisor to this company but it seems like your losing your grip of the times."
i tried hard on focusing on the board
"If i can just have a break, i've been workin-"
"OVERWORK MY ASS, blaming on overwork where it matters the most and acting all smug about it isn't what this company wants and will not tolerate it."
he paused for a bit and let down his anger looked at me with his face all hairy and ungroomed
"The board of directors has decided to finalise this, Ryo Kitaka i'm afraid that we will have to fire you." a pause letting the silence ring painfully
Instead of bursting out. i checked the board again this time with great detail, how was this my fault to bring this outrageous decline in profit?
"May i look at the papers that was given to you by yuta?" I looked at the report that was drafted by me and the outcome it recieved. None of it matched the projections of the report."
"Which mean't someone was lying."I thought
"Didn't this report i gave you given to you by yuta?"
"No, instead it was given to me by suki why you ask?"
So thats the problem, it's obvious now that this was tampered with nothing matches with my evaluations. Other words suki done it for my position which we both fought hard for.
"Sir, this copy seems to be tampered with as you can see it does not project my predictions and i give the responsibility on suki."
"Suki? that fragile woman who always has something nice to say to this company?" He asked while looking upwards smiling, it looked disgusting on how show his fond for her.

"Yes i'm afraid she must be the one who tampered it resulting this derastic decline."
"WHAT?! DON'T SAY NONSENSE. SUKI DOING SUCH A THING?" He couldn't believe it which is understandable if a woman who follows you around with a smile and a friendly tone.
A buisness becomes based on emotional reasoning instead of rationalism is a sign of a failing buisness model.
Numbers neverlie, people who use them do all to complete their desires and later justify their actions.
"OUT! NO MORE." he barked at my face holding no remorse or dignity, his anger wasn't panic. it was fear disguised as authority
Scoffing and noting the experince, i went out to my office to only see it was being stripped down, the people doing it had thrown my cat photo-framed to the box which broke the glass that in my opinion was unacceptable
"HEY, WHAT THE HELL YOUR DOING?" i yelled at them but they looked at me stupidly "We are just doing what they told us." he handed the box of my stuff to my hands which almost knocked me off balanced and i was escorted out the building while being eyed by many blamers cursing or performing hexes. One of the blamers was suki with a smirk on her face. i looked at her coldly realizing my defeat.
"Hope you do better in my post." i asked her even though knowing the answer
"Oh i will do much better than you do Ryo." With a fake smile plastered on her twisted face
i went put of the building with my pride and dignity taken away by ignorant human desire.
"When was the last time i had a good sleep?" I wondered as i was crossing the street zebra walk still holding the luggage it was heavy as hell and my eyes were about to go out
"I need to head back quick..."
Then he collapsed at the road which created screams from the bystanders and the world was fading away slowly. Ryo has fallen into a deep sleep, atleast he deserved that. but something tugged on his soul, pulling him out of the darkness.
