As I opened my eyes, feeling a sense of irritation in my skin, and warmth at the same time makes me cry louder than i should have, my father who'm just returned home from a mission quickly picked me up and tried to soothe me so i could stop crying.
The irritation in my skin lessen a little, as i finally could easen up and stop crying so loudly, my father put me back to the soft mattres as he lay beside me saying
"If only your mother didnt die in that stupid mission" as he said those words as if it were to be a threat to the captain, but Me and my father knew we could do nothing about the past, I'm just a infant, and he is just a normal rank 9th scavenger, both are just helpless.
Later on, evening arrive, father left to head out again to scavenge, as soon as he left I quickly looked around, the walls are metal, there are some vents for air, but something is strange, when father left, he put on a gas mask, why though?, maybe I'll find out when I grow up
