"Osborn's resistance to the ctOS matter doesn't seem very high."
In front of Nick Fury was a projection of Alexander Pierce, and the two were discussing Osborn.
Nick Fury had thoroughly investigated how Osborn was handling this matter.
Osborn had updated its user agreement, listing all permissions one by one, but as everyone knows, user agreements usually have hidden tricks.
However, after S.H.I.E.L.D.'s research, there were no tricks at all; compared to other internet companies, it was truly spotless.
As the head of Agents, Nick Fury knew about the Prism Program, and they even had a more advanced "Insight Project" themselves.
Now that the entire network was launching an offensive against ctOS, he could somewhat guess that Osborn had probably refused to participate in that project.
So, is Osborn really an unprecedentedly pure company?
Nick Fury didn't think so, but the reality was such that he was a bit confused—perhaps Osborn was still secretly continuing this project? Just like their S.H.I.E.L.D., doing things covertly.
"This is a good thing," Nick Fury still maintained his previous view.
He knew that his superior's attitude towards that thing had always been ambiguous, making him once suspect that Osborn had bypassed him and reached some agreement with the Security Council.
What Nick Fury didn't know was that while he was confused, Alexander Pierce was even more confused.
Because Alexander Pierce had uploaded Zola's program to the ctOS server, the data it sent back was no longer simply from an honest businessman; it was entirely in 'teenager mode'.
Not to mention Osborn's silence this time, Nick Fury didn't know, but Alexander Pierce did! Those agreements were really not deceptive, and Osborn really didn't pull any tricks.
One could say he was the first to truly abide by user agreements.
So both fell silent, unsure how to evaluate the Osborn Group.
If you say he's an honest businessman, the technology and influence he possesses are truly coveted, making it hard to believe they wouldn't have other ideas.
If you say he isn't, the moment the Federation touched him slightly, he started rectifying things like a law-abiding citizen.

"I heard about it, factory artificial intelligence, and I heard they recently demonstrated a fully automated construction robot, which Osborn led the research and development for," Alexander Pierce paused, then continued, "Let's consider this matter closed."
"How is Project Pegasus progressing?"
Quickly skipping over the discussion about Osborn, Alexander Pierce asked about the obviously more important Project Pegasus.
This project aims to harness the energy of the Tesseract to create a super-speed of light engine or do something else.

"Dr. Selvig's involvement has been very helpful to the project, but that thing is clearly not simple."
"So it still needs time, does it?" Alexander Pierce asked.
Nick Fury nodded.
At this moment, Nick Fury's phone rang:
"Officer, the Tesseract has reacted!"
Alexander Pierce and Nick Fury, still on the phone, exchanged glances, not expecting the progress of Project Pegasus to arrive right after they had just spoken about it.
On the other side, Harry didn't know where Project Pegasus was, but he knew that the plot of the entire Avengers 1 began with a Tesseract riot.
After a while, Loki would descend upon the Project Pegasus research center, and Nick Fury would activate the safety measures, blowing up the entire underground laboratory.
The massive explosion was caused by the Tesseract, and the Tesseract's energy release is usually accompanied by a large amount of gamma radiation—
To be able to collapse an underground research facility hundreds of meters deep, the radiation and energy released by that thing are imaginable.
Harry wanted to observe this from space.

After nearly half a year of training, the Deep Space Engineer Program successfully selected the top 100 individuals, forming 20 space operation teams, many of whom were "friendly" sponsored by NASA.
"Space is calling to you, everyone."
Touching the massive aerospace engineering vessel, Harry spoke to these outstanding talents.
In fact, Harry didn't need to do much to motivate them; these people were already eager to board the spaceship.
As for safety—Osborn isn't the only one doing aerospace worldwide, but Harry, flying into space on his own spaceship, was the first.
This was dedicating oneself to an ideal.

Everyone laughed.

Finally, there is the Living Area, where researchers who need to reside permanently in space can live and entertain themselves. It can accommodate 20 people.
However, these are all temporary; these functions will soon be handled by separate space stations.
"So we are the first space architects in human history? I can post this on my social media."
The speaker was a vibrant-looking man, but he was quickly silenced by his colleague.
Who doesn't know that Osborn's ctOS is being severely suppressed by other tech companies?
However, Harry said nonchalantly, "Yes, those fools still think we transported the space station up there. It's a good chance to open their eyes."
Seeing their strange looks, Harry continued, "What? You don't think I'd care about such things, do you?"
"But there have been some rumors online recently..."
"Those are just rumors then; lies can't deceive people," Harry shrugged. "Anyway, don't worry about that. Your job is to complete the mission. You can post anything you want, except for things covered by the confidentiality agreement."
"That's great!" Although everyone was happy to hear this news, the initial man's reaction was clearly more exaggerated.
Harry found it amusing and asked him, "Your reaction is a bit over the top. What's your name?"
"Mark Watney, I'm a botanist. My family wasn't very supportive of me joining the Deep Space Project. I want them to see that my choice was correct."
"Watney, is it?" Harry patted his shoulder, "Your family will be proud of you."
