Chapter 2 - The Beginning

Chapter 1: The Girl in the Library

The campus of the University of Kolkata was always full of noise—students laughing, bikes rushing past the gates, and groups of friends talking endlessly about their future.

But inside the old university library, everything was quiet.

At the corner of the second floor sat Ariana Malik.

She was always there.

With long dark hair tied in a simple ponytail and a notebook open in front of her, Ariana spent most of her time writing stories. The world outside the window felt distant whenever she held a pen.

For Ariana, writing was not just a hobby.

It was her escape.

Her life had never been easy. After her father passed away years ago, her mother had worked day and night to support their small family. Ariana studied hard because she believed education was the only way she could change their lives.

But there was one secret she never told anyone.

She wanted to become a novelist.

Every afternoon after class, she sat in the same place in the library, writing small pieces of romance stories in her notebook.

Stories about love.

Stories about destiny.

Stories about people who find each other even after losing everything.

But Ariana never believed such love existed in real life.

Until the day she met him.

Chapter 2: The Accidental Meeting

It was a rainy afternoon.

Heavy clouds covered the sky of Kolkata, and the sound of rain echoed against the library windows.

Ariana had just left her table to search for a book in the literature section.

When she returned, something strange happened.

Her book was gone.

Instead, a tall boy stood beside her table holding it in his hand.

"Excuse me," Ariana said politely. "That's my book."

The boy looked down at the cover and then at her.

"Oh… I thought someone left it here," he said with a small smile.

He was tall, confident, and dressed far more stylishly than most students on campus.

His name was Arman Rahman.

One of the most well-known students in the university.

The son of a powerful businessman.

Ariana had seen him before, surrounded by friends and attention.

But she had never spoken to him.

Until now.

"You should ask before taking someone's book," Ariana said calmly.

Arman looked slightly surprised.

Most students tried to impress him.

But this girl seemed completely uninterested.

"I'm sorry," he said, handing it back.

Ariana nodded and sat down again, opening her notebook.

Arman was about to leave.

But then he noticed something written on the page.

It was a story.

A beautiful one.

"You wrote this?" he asked.

Ariana quickly closed the notebook.

"It's nothing," she replied.

But Arman's curiosity had already begun.

He had just met the most mysterious girl in the university.

And without realizing it—

That rainy afternoon was the beginning of a love story neither of them expected.
