The next morning, they ate breakfast together.
"Do you ever feel like someone is hiding something." Felix asked,"You know, right Hyunjin?."
"Why...why are you asking me?."
"Just asking."
Seungmin stared at them before he rolled his eyes,"Just shut up and eat. "
"Like sometimes that person doesn't want you to be aware."
Hyunjin stood,"Well,I'm full.I'll be upstairs."
He leaves the dining table
"Idiot,why don't you just confess already. " Felix mumbled.
"You alright, bro? I've been suspecting you of mental illness after hearing you talk to yourself last night." He scoffs.
Felix gasped, "Seungmin!."
"What!?. It's the truth."
Later that day.
In Felix's bedroom.
"Hyunjin, can't you change back to your...you know,little mammal form?."
"I can, but I don't want to. It's more cozier in this form."
"Sure, or maybe you want to do something that requires you been human to carry it out. " Felix smirked.
"No,just like this form, that's all."
"Whatever!."He sneered.
"I'm going to meet Taehyung today."
"Taehyung?." Hyunjin asked, jealous.
"Yer,any problems?." He beamed.
"It's fine,you need to study anyway!"
"Hyunjin, you're insufferable!." He storms out.
Hyunjin blinks,"Why the hell is he angry. Did I say anything wrong?."
Jisung is with Jeongin and Changbin at the ramen shop.
"Soon,that little restaurant will be history." Changbin sighed.
Jisung rolled his eyes, glancing at his phone for any message from Minho.
"Hyung, you're alright?."
Jisung doesn't bother to give an answer, his eyes still on his phone.
"Jisung. " Changbin called.
"What!?." Jisung glared at him.
"Okay,something is wrong." Jeongin said worriedly.
"It's fine."
"You've been checking your phone ever since we arrived. " Changbin placed a hand on his shoulder
"It's fine." Jisung insisted, standing up.
"And where are you off to?."
Jisung quietly took his leave.
"Now, what's his problem?." Jeongin wondered.
"He'll come around soon." Changbin answered.
Felix stares intently quietly at Hyunjin like he was trying to figure him out. A ferret-human.
He had no idea where he even came from, and now he was waiting for this creature to confess love to him,who in their right mind would do that?.
Hyunjin gaze flickered to Felix, and the blondie huffed before staring away.
"Cute." He mumbled to Felix hearing.
Felix's ears heat up,"What'd you say?."
"Erm,nothing."
"Tch,loser." Felix snorted.
At the mart.
Jisung walked up to the guy at the checkup counter.
"Hey,did Minho...did he come to work today?."
The guy smiled at him warmly,"No."
"No?." He blinks,surprised.
The guy nods.
"Erm...do you know where he...he might be?."
"I don't, but I know someone who might."
Bangchan wiped sweat off his forehead, taking a seat after their practice.
"Hey,come sit." He gestured towards the empty bench.
Seungmin nodded, taking a seat next to him.
"Reading for your exams?." the younger asked, and Chan nodded.
"What about you?. Remember your parents' condition?."
Seungmin nodded,"yer,but I still have three years ahead of me, plus I have my elder brother at home. He is always willing to lend a helping hand."
Chan nodded.
"How are you gonna balance baseball with your business career?."
Chan smiles,"I'll know how to go about it,don't you worry your pretty little head." He bopped him on the nose with his finger.
Seungmin face turned crimson red.
Just then they sight Jisung walking up to them.
"Jisung?." Seungmin wondered.
"You know him?." Chan questioned.
"Yer,he's Felix's bestie and a troublemaker." Seungmin smiled.
Jisung walked up to them his eyes misty.
"Jisung-hyung, what's up?." Seungmin asked.
"You're Chan, right?"
Chan nodded,"you alright?."
"Do...do you have any idea where Minho might be?."
"Minho...?." Chan asked.
"Jisung-hyung, what's the problem?." Seungmin quiered.
"Please, do you know where he is?."
"Yer,he is at my place, he said he had a fight with his boyfriend."Chan explained.
"At...at your place?."
"Yer,he explained all that happened last night. So you're his jealous boyfriend with trust issues."Chan smiled.
"I...It's not like that." Jisung muttered under his breath.
"Oh,hyung. Your relationship is not up to a year and you're already having issues. Typical you." Seungmin remarked.
"Seungmin. "
"What!?. I'm saying the truth.Hyung,be like me,I never get jealous. " He added.
"Oh,really?." Chan smirked.
"Yer." he answered.
"Can you please talk to him...he isn't answering my calls or text messages." Jisung pleaded.
"Of course,I'll talk to him. It's normal for you to feel possessive and jealous. " Chan smiled.
"Stop encouraging him hyung or he'll be worse." Seungmin said.
"Seungmin!."
"Yer,that's my name."He smirked and Chan shook his head sighing,"You'll never change, will you?."
"I always say the truth even if it hurts." Seungmin sniggered.
Later that night.
At Felix's place.
"You will not believe Jisung-hyung fought with his boyfriend last night." Seungmin said the minute he entered the front door.
He took his shoes off.
"What was that?." Felix asked from the kitchen.
"Jisung-hyung. " Seungmin answered making his way into the kitchen.
Felix was busy preparing dinner,"how was baseball practice?."
"Fine,anyway forget about that."
"Oh,yer what were you saying about Jisung-hyung?." Felix asked going through the kitchen cabinet.
"He fought with his boyfriend. "
"Minho?. No way." Felix said turning his attention towards his brother who leaned against the door.
"How do you know that? Since when did you and Jisung-hyung get so close?." Felix questioned arms crossed.
"He came by the baseball pitch. He even spoke with Channie-hyung. Apparently, this Minho guy is crashing at Channie-hyung's place." He explained.
"Oh,poor Jisung." Felix said sympathetically.
"It was jealousy on Jisung-hyung's part. They're having trust issues."
"I see, Jisung-hyung has always been the jealous type, and he won't take any chances with Minho. "
"Yer,maybe you should speak to him before he crashes out like literally,probably crying like a baby." Seungmin simpered.
"Yer,you're right. I'll call him right now. Can you handle dinner while I have a talk with him?."
"Of course. " Seungmin nodded.
"Try not to burn down the kitchen."Felix remarked, walking out.
