Chapter 1 - #1From Sanya to Rio Beach

"Sand therapy, tsk~~ so comfortable~~"

Rock buried himself in the slightly warm sands of Sanya Beach, smelling the salty sea breeze and the scent of coconut oil. The sound of crashing waves and the playful shouts of tourists filled his ears. In this pleasant white noise, Rock felt his consciousness melt and stretch like a piece of candy, his entire being sinking lower and lower.

He just didn't know why, as something unknown merged into his consciousness, the fine sand enveloping his body suddenly turned from warm to scorching hot.

It became ridiculously hot in a short time, making him feel like he was lying directly on a barbecue grill. Not good, his bird was going to get burnt.

The salty sea breeze in the air also suddenly became strong and pungent, mixed with the smell of roasted meat and a strange, somewhat sweet and fishy scent.

Rock couldn't lie still anymore. He threw off the sand covering him and jumped up, patting the burning areas on his body.

But as soon as he opened his drowsy eyes, he froze. Where was this? Wasn't he in Sanya?

Also, when did China become so open? Why were there so many people not wearing clothes?

Under a sky as blue as if it had been washed, on the endless, dazzling white sand beach before him.

There were no longer the familiar colorful swimsuits and parasols.

As far as the eye could see, men and women, old and young, either strolling, lying down, or playing ball, were all, without exception, completely naked.

Bronze, wheat, white, and black skin tones basked uninhibited in the scorching sunlight, forming a primitive and astonishing scene.

A sea breeze blew past, and Rock felt a chill. He looked down and saw that he, too, was like everyone else.

What startled him even more was that, in the instant he looked down, he discovered a Latina beauty kneeling before him, appearing to be about twenty-three or twenty-four years old.

Her features were deep and defined, her eyes a rich dark brown, and her long hair, covering her chest, was a slightly messy brownish-yellow. She was currently looking up at him with curiosity.

She seemed to be wondering why he had suddenly jumped out of the sand.

A scent mixed with coconut sunscreen and a faint smell of sweat rushed into his nostrils.

At such close proximity, it seemed she had been observing him while he lay in the sand.

Rock quickly covered himself with his hands.

A strong sense of shame surged, making his face flush red.

His flustered appearance made the brown-haired beauty smile: "Hey, handsome, I think I can do something to help you relax."

The language was strange; he was sure it wasn't English, but he could understand every word.

"No, no need, thank you." Roke waved his hands frantically.

"Then it's nice to meet you, I'm Camila."

Camila stood up from the beach. She had a great figure, about one meter seventy-five tall, and didn't seem much shorter standing in front of the one-meter eighty-five Rock.

He somewhat unnaturally shifted his gaze to the side. The hot figure so close to him made his throat feel dry.

Although he wasn't a novice, facing such directness still made him a little shy.

"Excuse me, where is this?" Roke didn't notice that he was also speaking the same language as Camila.

"This is Copacabana Beach. Were you buried here while you were asleep? I think that place can answer your questions."

Camila raised her hand and pointed to a spot.

He followed the direction of her finger.

Through a gap in some buildings, a mountaintop was visible, and the familiar statue with outstretched arms on its peak was unmistakable.

"Brazil, Rio de Janeiro."

"Buzz," a violent surge of emotion exploded in his brain.

"Which god is playing a joke on me? I've been thrown all the way across the Pacific!"

Seeing his embarrassed and bewildered look, Camila smiled and pulled his hand: "Welcome to the City of God."

Before Roke could react, a sudden commotion came from the other end of the beach.

Camila and Roke simultaneously turned their heads to look.

They saw three men, dressed in flashy shirts but unable to conceal their fierce aura, striding quickly through the leisurely crowd on the beach, causing screams but no one dared to curse them.

Because these men each had a hand on their waist, looking as if they would pull out a weapon without a word.

Seeing these men rushing towards them, Camila's face changed drastically: "Damn it, run!"

She grabbed him and started running quickly towards the other end, her agile posture as powerful as a female leopard.

Rock, completely bewildered, ran a couple of steps after her, then looked back. All the hairs on his body stood on end, and his legs almost gave out.

Each of the three men had pulled out a pistol and was rapidly rushing towards them.

He had never seen anything like this.

He no longer cared about the swinging pendulum effect and instinctively started sprinting with Camila.

What the hell was this? He woke up in Brazil, and while he got some eye candy, he was immediately chased by big men with guns.

Could he return to the sand in Sanya after dying? Rock dared not gamble.

While still sprinting, a mechanical voice suddenly sounded in his mind.

"Host detected facing a fatal threat. The guns and roses system has successfully bound."

"Welcome to the world of the strong, Mr. Rock. This system will help you become an urban legend, wielding absolute power and deadly charm!"

"Newbie Survival Pack issued: Basic physical fitness fully upgraded to human limits (strength, speed, stamina, reaction, recovery)! Anti-virus ability MAX!"

An explosive torrent of power instantly swept through his entire body!

He felt the previous weakness and stiffness vanish, every muscle filled with unprecedented strength, and his five senses became exceptionally acute.

Camila's heavy breathing beside him sounded as if it was right in his ear, making him realize she was struggling to run.

The current Rock still had enough energy to turn his head and glance at the three armed men chasing them. They were only about a hundred meters away now.

At this point, "bang bang" gunshots had already rung out. Although this distance was beyond the effective range.

But stray bullets still hit the nearby sand with thudding sounds. he didn't dare to bet that no bullet would catch up to him.

Looking at Camila again, her speed had visibly slowed down.

Facing a life-or-death crisis, Rock didn't have time to ponder what he had received; escaping was paramount.

As the first Brazilian he had seen since waking up, he still needed to learn many things from her, so he suddenly bumped into Camila beside him.

He squatted slightly and, amidst Camila's scream, picked her up onto his shoulder and sprinted towards the bushes by the beach.

The curses and gunshots behind him grew fainter and fainter, but he paid no attention, only focusing on running forward with his head down.

Until he couldn't hear any sound.

Ten minutes later, he, panting heavily, put Camila down from his shoulder.

They were now hiding in an abandoned building ruin, with a road passing about a hundred meters away.

"Oh my god, you are truly strong! I swear I've never seen an foreign man as strong as you."

Camila's eyes lit up as she pressed her body against him, not caring about the sweat dripping from him.

"They... they were chasing you, right? Why did you drag me along?"

He had suddenly understood a problem while running.

Those men clearly rushed over with a purpose. As a newcomer, he shouldn't have any conflict with them.

The only possibility was naturally Camila, whom he had carried out. He was definitely caught in the crossfire.
