A few days after our trip, Puramodo suddenly had an idea.
"Let's go shopping",she said.
"Shopping?" I asked.
"Yes",she replied.
"There is a big mall in the city. It will be fun."
Aarihito nodded in agreement. Soon everyone liked the idea.
The next day, we met at the city mall.
Pramodo and I arrived first. After a few minutes Ritou came.
She waved when she saw me.
"Sorry if I'm late," she said.
"You're right on time", I replied.
Soon Aarihito, and his girlfriend arrived too.
The mall was full of people. Bright lights were shining everywhere. Music was playing softly in the background.
Ritou looked around with curious eyes.
"There are so many shops here", she said.
Purmodo laughed.
"That's, the whole point of coming here."
We started walking around the mall together.
First, we entered a clothing store. Ritou looked at different dresses. After a while, she turned toward me.
"Which one you think looks better?" she asked.
She held two dresses.
I looked at both of them carefully.
"The blue one", I said.
Ritou smiled happily.
"Good choice."
Meanwhile, Purmodo was trying on jackets. He wore a black jacket and looked at us.
"How do I look?" he said.
Aarihito laughed.
"Like a villain from a movie."
Everyone barsh into laughter .
After a long time of walking and shopping, we went to the food court. We bought drinks and snacks and sat together!
The mall was noisy, but the movement felt warm and relaxing.
I noticed the shopping bag in Ritou's hands.
"Did you buy something special?" I asked.
Ritou smiled mysteriously.
"Maybe."
Later, as we were about to leave the mall, Ritou suddenly stopped.
"Wait here for a moment" she said.
She quickly walked into a small shop.
I waited outside with the others.
After a few minutes, she came back. She handed asmall bag to me.
"This is for you," she said.
"For me ?" I asked
I was suprised. I opened the bag. Inside was a simple bracelet.
I looked at her.
"Thank you, Ritou", I said.
She looked a little shy.
"It's just a small gift."
I smiled.
Even though it was small, but it meant a lot to me.
