Chapter 75 - Chapter 75 – The Woman Who Knocked Down the Hulk

The outskirts of Berlin were shrouded in smoke.

Thick columns of black smog drifted across the sky as scattered fires burned throughout the city. The devastation looked eerily similar to images from the final days of World War II.

Buildings were damaged.

Streets were shattered.

But despite the destruction, the alien invasion had ended.

The Chitauri army's attempt to conquer Earth had collapsed completely.

Along one abandoned street, civilians had already been evacuated. Only a few surviving Chitauri soldiers were still fleeing desperately through the ruins.

Behind them chased a massive green figure.

The terrifying thing was what he held in his hands.

The giant had ripped an entire streetlight pole from the ground.

He swung it like a club.

Bang! Bang!

Each strike smashed down on the fleeing Chitauri with savage force.

Crude.

Brutal.

Primitive.

Exactly the style one would expect from the Hulk.

Hulk

Yun Chen watched the scene quietly.

"So that's the Hulk," he thought to himself.

Carol stared in disbelief.

"There are monsters like that on Earth?"

Her shock was understandable.

Carol had left Earth decades earlier. During the 1980s and 1990s, the world had been far quieter. Superheroes had not yet begun emerging everywhere.

After she was accidentally exposed to Kree energy and became Captain Marvel, she had barely returned to Earth at all.

Yun Chen shrugged slightly.

"He's stronger now than he used to be," he said. "That monster gets more powerful the angrier he becomes."

He glanced at the raging giant smashing Chitauri soldiers like insects.

"Even a Kree fleet would hesitate if that thing decided to target them."

Carol blinked.

Now she understood.

Still, something about Yun Chen confused her.

He seemed to know far too much about Earth.

Sometimes she even had the strange feeling that Yun Chen understood this planet better than she did.

For a moment she wondered if the ruler of the Kryptonian Empire had originally been from Earth.

But the thought felt too strange.

She shook her head and dismissed it.

Roar!

At that moment, the Hulk suddenly roared loudly.

Carol frowned.

"Wait… he's looking at us."

The giant green monster had turned toward them.

His glowing red eyes locked onto the three figures standing at the end of the street.

The Hulk sniffed the air like a hunting beast.

He could sense something.

Danger.

The three people in front of him carried powerful auras.

Instead of caution, the feeling made him even more excited.

Roar!!

His blood boiled instantly.

The Chitauri soldiers had already become too weak to satisfy his battle frenzy.

But these three humans…

They felt different.

Stronger.

The Hulk stomped forward.

Boom!

The pavement cracked beneath his feet as he began charging.

Inside the Hulk's mind, Bruce Banner screamed in panic.

"No! That's a human!"

But Banner's voice was completely drowned out.

The Hulk's rage had already taken control.

Not far away, several people noticed the sudden change.

"Hey! Hulk, that's a human!" shouted Natasha Romanoff.

"Not good," muttered Steve Rogers.

They could not understand why the Hulk had suddenly started attacking humans.

Several Kamar-Taj sorcerers tried to intercept him, but none of them could stop the rampaging giant.

Kamar-Taj

From their perspective, the Hulk was charging straight toward three ordinary people.

No one understood what had triggered him.

"Oh… this is bad."

Phil Coulson closed his eyes briefly.

The Avengers project had been Director Fury's ambitious plan. Banner's inclusion had always been controversial.

If the Hulk killed civilians here, the entire project would become a global scandal.

Boom!!

A thunderous impact exploded across the street.

The sound was so loud it felt like lightning had struck the ground.

Everyone froze.

"This…"

"Impossible!"

"Oh my God… what did we just see?"

Shocked voices erupted from both sides of the street.

S.H.I.E.L.D. agents stared in disbelief.

Even the sorcerers from Kamar-Taj were stunned.

Captain America and Black Widow, veterans of countless battles, looked completely shocked.

Phil Coulson sensed something strange and slowly opened his eyes.

Hum!

At that moment a massive shadow flew through the air.

Boom!

The Hulk's enormous body crashed onto the pavement several meters away.

A parked car beneath him was flattened instantly.

Coulson's jaw dropped.

"Wait… what?"

Everyone had expected a massacre.

Instead, the Hulk had been knocked away.

Coulson followed the stunned gazes of the crowd.

At the end of the street stood a woman.

She lowered her fist slowly.

The truth spread quickly among the witnesses.

"Did you see that?!"

"Of course I saw it! That woman just punched the Hulk!"

"How is that even possible?! Look at the difference in size!"

The street erupted in chaotic discussion.

Coulson could only stare.

A woman had just punched the Hulk.

Since when did Earth have someone that powerful?

Roar!

The Hulk climbed to his feet, furious.

The laughter and shock around him only intensified his rage.

Especially the fact that his opponent was a woman.

Roar!!

His red eyes burned with anger as he pounded his chest.

Then he charged again.

"No! Hulk, stop!" people shouted desperately.

But the green giant had already lost control.

At the end of the street, the woman watched him calmly.

Her short black hair moved slightly in the wind.

Her sharp eyes were cold and fearless.

Her tall figure carried both strength and elegance.

It was Foola.

Seeing the Hulk rushing toward Yun Chen earlier, she had stepped forward instantly.

She had not expected the green monster to attack again.

"Stupid creature," she said coldly.

Crack!

Her foot stepped forward, leaving a deep crater in the ground.

Her body shot forward like a bullet.

Boom!

The two figures collided head-on.

The shockwave blasted across the street.

Once again, the Hulk lost.

His massive body was thrown backward by the much smaller figure.

Bang!

Like a cannonball, the Hulk smashed through the wall of a nearby building.

Part of the structure collapsed instantly.

"My God…"

"The Hulk lost again…"

Everyone stared in disbelief.

The mysterious woman standing in the street had just defeated the Hulk twice.

"Who is she?"

The question echoed everywhere.

At that moment, a familiar armored figure landed nearby.

Jets flared as the red-and-gold suit touched the ground.

Tony Stark

Tony glanced at the smoking building where the Hulk had crashed.

Then he looked at Foola.

"Hulk," he said slowly, "what exactly happened to you?"
