From what he could see, Xander was confused even more. "Apex? Why am I here?"
"Because my boy, you are a realm lord and a chamber member. You have power and control the astral realms of power. You are from Earth X."
"What is that? Earth is Earth. There's no X or Y. There are not human genotypes or chromosomes, it's a planet."
Apex placed his hand on his waist in shock, he was like a normal human again. He just misplaced a strong amount of supernatural power within his own body, spirit and soul.
Apex was dumbfounded.
"Tell me you are joking, tell me this just nothing but a premium joke Xander. This can't be, you can't forget yourself so easily. Tell me you are joking about this, just tell me! Xander!"
Xander got up, he stood facing Apex. He said, "Actually I am. I'm joking, Where's Solstice? And everybody?"
Apex froze again, he exhaled and said. "Don't do that again. Don't you ever try to phase me off like that again boy."
Xander smiled and uttered, "Apex if I feel like doing it again. I will but if I don't then I won't."
"I see the powers have turned you tricky and fearless. You are worse than Vexis. Or will be, I expect the depression to kick in soon. Just give it a moment."
"Yeah I will, but as for now. Let me own my reign. I need a robe, a new black robe."
"I see, I'll give you the robe soon. Just wait for me." He walked away to get it. Xander opened the door, he was proud and confident for a change.
Apex threw the robe at him when he wasn't looking at him, Xander felt insulted but decided to over look it. "Apex you need to grow up. Don't be petty."
"Shut up Xander. Solstice awaits you. Meet us downstairs."
Xander smiled and wore the robe, he walked down with so much pride. Nebula didn't believe he would have this much pride, Celeste watched him walk till he walked to his chair.
What a peacock.
Xander gave him a premium cocky smile. He pronounced, "Greetings to the lords. I see your faces don't appreciate my presence. What's seems to be the matter?"
Solstice held the chair he sat on, he asked, "Xander? Have you now risen to speak like equals to us?"
Xander replied, "With the sentence I just gave, I didn't. Why the faces of surprise?"
Celeste said, "No one seems to be surprised here Alexander. Maybe it's just you. Who else would see through your pride besides you."
Xander sat and decided to stay quiet. Apex uttered from behind him. "Solstice, you are welcome again. Please begin."
"Grand Arbiter Apex. Would you consider your former student and lord fit for the upcoming seasons of this league?"
Apex turned to each of their faces and finally he said. "Well my lord, to what I can see. It's a massive no for me."
Xander could not hide his facial expression, "Excuse me? What do you mean by a massive no? You can't say that in front of me."
Nebula replied, "Xander you have no reason and authority yet to even mingle with us in our midst, how dare you interrupt your grand arbiter? Do you think we are comedy streaks?"
Xander got up to his feet and said, "I never wanted to be a part of your crew. If you don't want me here then that's not a problem for me. I'm fine."
Xander walked out on them and appeared back at his room. He looked around to make sure it's still his room.
He wanted to pace for his wardrobe but he sensed a new presence in the room. He perceived the smell of the person and knew who it was. Apex.
"Xander."
"Won't. So don't."
Apex drew closer to him from behind, Xander refused to turn his face to his so he remained still facing the window.
Apex held his waist with both of his hands and spoke through whispers while he placed his lips closer to his ears, "Xander don't act like a child. Don't act like you don't want to be a part of the union. You've worked so hard for this but your mind is still at the early stage of power. If you could behave like this now, what would happen when you ascend even more. You'll need to take it or I will."
"Apex, I'm stepping down myself and I remove myself from the league until further notice. I need live a normal life, you could ask Luna for her help. As for me, I am so done."
He picked up his shirt and started packing his bags, he was off to a new place and Apex could tell and so he asked. "Where are you off to?"
"Wherever I feel like going?"
"Xander Earth HZ would feel like the league or home. It would be a whole new start and you are properly trained for her yet. Have you forgotten?"
"I don't care about the war or upcoming battles, all I want is simply a peaceful life or a life without any of you in it. Don't follow me, you are not allowed to be at my place."
Apex wanted to hold him closer to his body for some weird reason. He had a lot of love for him suddenly, "Xander, I'm not coming with you but all I can say is I wish you the best."
Apex disappeared, Xander paused and looked over to the place he once stood at. He stayed calm. He walked over to the entrance of his room and disappeared.
He appeared at his apartment at Earth HZ, he remembered Kira Peters. He dropped his bag and walked closer to the door, he opened the door and saw her there.
Kira was shocked to see him, "Xander? You are back? You survived the attack."
"What attack? I went home for a little training. I remember us saying we had to meet Solstice. You know when my sister came around. Luna, you remember her right?"
